Giving up on trigger [throttle]

xboxs forza used the triggers for brake and throttle and they were linear. It just felt perfect. Switching to gt was a real shock, i find myself fighting the ds3 more than the cars themselves.
It's not the DS3's fault however. It's GT5's programmed non-linear software response to the user input on throttle only. Brake control, no matter on which button/trigger/stick you set it, is much more precise. PD could at least offer an option to change throttle control linearity and response.

I've always used square and x; can't use the stick because it's hard to use one stick for two things; can't use the triggers because I can't get my old brain to use two fingers for two different functions; two buttons/pedals operated by one thumb/foot. Some day someone will invent a racing controller with a two more trigger like buttons for the thumb.

DS3? Real nukkas play with SixAxis! (Yes I still own one)
I personally used to play with X, and [], until I started playing the new era racers on my Xbox 360, and it just stuck to me, and I prefer it more, it gives you more control over the car.
