Glitch on High Speed Ring ....

Was recently doing the Formula GT World Championship and was doing the fourth race on the High Speed Ring. Having gained a full lap on the field, I like to knock over cones, etc. for entertainment ! The pit entrance is just prior to the last corner before the straight, however, there is also an entrance to the pit AFTER the last corner that is "blocked" by cones. Out of curiosity, I blasted through the cones and proceeded to blast through the pit at 200+ mph. Two laps later, the rest of the field entered the pit .... wonder what would happen if .... ? Sure enough, I entered the pit off the straight, screaming through pit row at 200+ heading right for the line-up of cars in their respective pit area. I came right up behind them, and much to my surprise, drove right "through" them like they weren't even there !!! I was kinda hoping to make physical contact with the rear one and create a chain reaction - no such luck, but a startling reaction just the same.

They did that because with the added polygons of the pit crew it would take up too much processing power. Which is why (when you're making a pit stop) all the other cars disappear - even ones going past you on the track. :/

No, when I entered the pit off the straight - still running 200+ mph, all five of the other cars were sitting there in their respective pit area, WITH the crews. I LITERALLY drove right THROUGH all five cars !!!!!

yeah, i test it out and i notice that this High Speed Ring side pitstop have forgotted to auto drive or something, and it could be done free drive, time trail, anywhere, any car.. and here some pic i tooked today, to prove for him :sly:

Do you think there's any chance PD will release a Special Edition GT4 with all problems fixed and some of the things people have desperatley asked for?

Would you guys buy it if they released such game? Even if there was no discount after buying GT4 already?

But then it would be ripping off the millions of faithful users that bought GT4,expecting it all to be ok... :rolleyes:
 
1 if it platinum edition it won't be.

2 I'd gladly plart exchange my GT4 and buy it if it means a more enjoyable game and may other will.

3 SE means we will get some extra content.

I don't think we'll be seeing another GT game till after the PS3 is released and we see GT5 hittin the shelves. Then we get to complain about a whole set of new glitches! HOORAY! :)
