John, it's just.... distracting. I didn't have a fantastic setup on the car as it is. I haven't practiced here for a while either, so I was also probably shaking some rust off. I'm not going to say I had a clean race, as I must've gone too far inside the downhill hairpin more than once, and every time I kicked myself for it.

Ah well, I'm eating now, so I'm a little calmer. I will say though, I got 1:33.9 in the Ford, now given what I've just said.... that car is quick as hell guys. To do 1:33.9 in a car I haven't touched since the ALMS days, that's mad.

Ok, official changes:

1/ spec checking will be in order from least bhp to most.
2/ When I recorded everyones times, I say done and everyone leaves the track.
3/ No tune tweaking after you have left the track.👍

Is that better? Any other issues that need to be resolved?

Now that's been said, I will make sure that I have a comfortable tune a day before a race. Sorry guys, I didn't mean to cause suspicion going back and forth to the settings. :(

Exactly, I wasn't happy either when I went wide, I honestly felt a bit bad for that...

You're not dirty, Furi's just angry. You do however need to tame it back a bit, you tended to try a move at most opportunities, sometimes when a move wasn't on. Keep your head on straight and plan your moves and you'll be fine. 👍


I know I bumped a couple of people at the beginning and I'm sorry about that but I was suffering with a bit of lag (think my brother was watching videos :rolleyes:).

The battle towards the front was great however. Should have pitted with everyone else though as staying out the extra lap must have cost me about 4 seconds at least. :indiff:

I can draw up a quick unofficial race result if you like?

You didn't, its just better to take away the option of some accusing you.👍
 
I didn't mean to harp on anyone messing with settings when spec-checking. I'm just use to it in other series and people never mess with their cars unless they want to get checked again.

Ok, thanks for the cheer up, I started to feel guilty right now... :guilty:

EDIT: A reason why I might hit someone from the side mid corner is that I have a 4:3 TV so my FOV is limited.

Also, if you do run wide and gain from it, just lift off for a second or so- it shows that you're intending to follow the rules, you just had a little off moment. :)

The battles at the front are always great! It's why I was so annoyed that I wasn't hitting my low 34's like I was doing in practice last week, always very hard fought but always clean.

GTracer, get a feel of the guy ahead of you before you make a move, even if you know you're faster. You can then pick holes and force mistakes.

Claiming best overtake of the race! Outbraked two cars into the uphill left hairpin, slipped up the inside and rocketed away.
 
I feel so bad for Furi, I really 🤬 it up. :(.

It just isn't worth it anymore......
