I know there's .5 in there, so I wouldn't be surprised at 56s being done.

^Hope you weren't talking about me in the corner cutting thing JB? :scared: I know I lifted off anytime I went wide in a place that could gain time.

Hmm good benchmark 👍

Not very happy about what JB's seen with regards to cuts and runoff's, me and jb were very clean and still stayed out infront so it obviously gained you nothing only a big 👎

Ditto...

In my defense, the only time I went wide exiting last corner, I lifted until I rejoined the track...

Done some laps 58.1 so far but defo more in her just got to fine tune it as it feels a bit loose at the rear,
These times are with tyre wear on btw

Edit: 58.0 now but there's defo another .500 in her as I'm 300up in 1st sector but get excited and lose it all come the end. Q pace has never been my strong point tho so I can see jb getting low 57's high 56's

If you steer it straight back on at the last corner (i.e. don't straight line it back towards the track and over the grass) with a little lift you don't gain anything at all, you actually lose a bit.

The only places I can see time being gained by running wide is T1 (again steering hard back on negates it, just if you use it like extra track you gain) and the first turn of sector 2. Where you can run really wide and take more speed through the corner and get a better entry to the next turn. Again however running a bit wide on the grass just dirties your tires so you have to brake earlier for the next turn.

So I think you might have cost yourself quite a bit there.

Will depend how some treat "That Chicane" your guess is as good as mine.

Finally had a chance to look back at the Sparky incident cant really find any defence for you im afraid.:indiff: Not only did you slow down in a very dangerous place (understand you have explained why) but you then steered straight left into Lancer he didn't stand a chance:ouch: The very least you could have done was slow safely and let him collect a position it was easy enough to see from your viewpoint what happened.:guilty:
Was quite an eye opener watching the race down through the field some terrible corner cutting and run off use from some I would of expected better from personally. So I beg you Resh forget any reverse grid ideas I sure as hell wouldn't like to try and fight my way through.:nervous: Let me race Gedi any day of the week!
Don't worry Johnny boy....

Accidents happen, I should've slowed down anyway.... Sorry bout that :ouch:

My FOV is limited (My small Daewoo will be replaced with a true HDTV later on), my DS3's feedback is crappy at best (this has happened before in different situations) and I'm always standing up while racing in the middle of the living room (Which is tiring for extended periods of time).

Don't sweat it. I haven't turned my PS3 on today as I'm still not feeling like racing right now.

By saturday I'll be back to my horrible jokes and crappy sarcasm :sly:

Mine were 2 wheels on track (Tarmac) 58.0 like I say I've got another .500 to come easy only done 10 laps.

Tyres felt good so could possibly go for a slightly more extreme setup :sly:

@ resh... What is your policy with regards to the chicane?

Most likely gonna pull a crappy time, like 2:00 or more. Haven't touched the SLS lately.

Well its not you we need worry about now is it.:sly::)

The Green Road like thing is OK but past that is off limits.

The only thing past that green road thing is wall. Plus we'll have to bust one wall down to use the green road thing.

Leave it to me.

I just can't manage to avoid those white wall things :p

No, on the chicane there are 2 Green road thingies and past that is the grass. The grass is forbidden.

Ok.

I'll still most likely take that white wall thing out anyway.

Why can't you just allow 2 wheels on track (Tarmac) at all times? That allows the other 2 wheels to go on kerbs just like real racing.
