Was pure luck as I didn't even see the track till I opened the lobby,so only had an hours practice and as for the token I thought what the hell lets just use it.

Car felt ace today I must admit :)
 
It was a fun start, but I was so absolutely p***ed off at myself for such 'tard errors. Hence why I was quick to exit the lobby.

Getting on the grass or not getting the braking strength for Turn 1. Not to mention the unnecessary lift-offs with the throttle thanks to a poor line... I was please I knocked a 1:16.4 though.
 
I found a bit of the same issues too.

Well no racing next week unless if you are participating in rallymortens Akasaka GP.

Might snag the last spot, but it'll be in one of the ITCC or BST cars.
 
Should have practised if I wanted the win really, hadn't run the track since the 20 minutes or so I spent on the track in the pre-season- was guessing braking points and lines through the corners hence why I misjudged turn 1 on lap 3. :ouch:

Felt I was in with a shot had that not happened. Although the GT was .3 faster on each of the two fast sections. :sick:

Cool coz I didn't fancy doing this then a 90min enduro straight after :(
 
Indianapolis isn't one of those tracks that favours the straight-line kings as much as you'd expect.

I like the next 2 tracks and I think their suited to the GT.

True, but the GT-R lost about 3-4 tenths on the straight at the Jim Clark Circuit, so I wouldn't be surprised if we're giving a way half a second at Indy. :nervous:

Plus the GT is better at high speed corners than the GT-R and doesn't give away much in low speed.

I noticed that especially that last turn as I gained loads on whoever was infront.

Question for you all:

I have almost done preparing Season 3, I have to do the calender now.

We'll likely start when in England time; BST becomes GMT to avoid some time confusion, that'll mean that the season will be short, however.

Global GT Finale has been in Fuji F going 30 minutes but I'm thinking about making the German Cup the first round and ending with the Global GT Finale at Nurburgring 24h in an 1 hour endurance (if you can call it that), what do you think about it?

Smart move holding the new season after the switch, avoids a LOT of confusion. I've been caught out at least once by it.
