Pretty crap that they are not in the game.

Thought the windows would get dirty too, the cars don't get too dirty, if at all?

Or are these things unlocked like the damage is? I'm at level 22 on both specs.

Also wouldn't it be cool if certain elements of the cars had a certain life cycle, like if you tuned an engine to higher degree than the exhaust or gearbox could handle.
Or if you had normal suspension and grippy tyers etc etc

Will these things be added with updates?

1) I'm 90% sure breaks glow, this isn't forza, you need to push a car HARD to get glowing brakes.

2) a car in proper running condition doesn't make noticeable exhaust.

3) life cycles would be incredibly hard to put into the game if they differ on the performance of the car.

4)Dirty windows..meh.

Edit I'm 100% brakes glow

Brakes do glow, I have a few photomode shot of them.

Cars get dirty too, but it's really slow and mostly a thin layer of brown dust. If you want to see glowing brakes more often, turn off abs and brake borderline blocking.

I remember one of the races, Expert Ferrari at Monza I think, where I was following one of them, maybe the 458 and it was billowing dark smoke out of it's engine bay all the way round the track. I couldn't believe it at first but when I got close it was really doing it. Looked excellent. Just like a really hot engine on the edge of blowing up.

I don't think I'm playing the same game as you. I frequently notice brake glow on cars that have been driven long enough and hard enough to develop high heat in the brakes. For dirty cars, take a stock car for a 10-15 lap spin at Daytona Superspeedway with a field of stock cars and watch the sides of the car turn black with rubber and road grime accumulation.

Dirt does accumlate, i took my RM Challenger rallying and it got dirty, didn't stay dirty though...
Brakes do glow too if you hammer on them with ABS on

I wish my cars get dirty, so GT5 promised us that the dirt will stay, well I think they lied to us, i really hope a patch will fix it.

I only clean my cars because I went off track and my tires are not in their 100% grip, yes car wash makes my tires clean so i get maximum grip. I want to see my skyline dirty!!!

my bspec endurance car is dirty AND stays dirty.. it doesnt look dirty in the garage but the next race it starts pre-dirty and the different areas that get dirty on different cars is really well done, it just takes a while to get dirty. race cars with sponsorship logo's dont seem to get dirty tho

Thanks guys, I'll need to look closer for the glowing brakes. I think I've been watching B spec and I don't think I'm at a high enough level yet for him to brake hard enough for glowing.

I still think exhausts should glow though. You see it in the WRC at night all the time and their cars are proper running condition, soullessvessel.

Dirt on the cars.... I'll have to look more closely because I've not noticed anything. Not did a nascar race yet, don't like it tbh.

I'll post back here when I notice each individual thing I have missed!

So they glow with abs on or off.
