God of War! The movie?

Yes well Universal that grand ol' movie company has recently bought the rights to God of War this means there's going to be a movie. I have, through the magic of computers, inserted links here and here. I'm wondering how the hell they can keep this story intriguing to the people who have played the game, but at the same time not wreck this crazy motherf*ing story.

More importantly WHO WILL BECOME KRATOS? I'm hearing from other forums that vin diesal should play the part. But he would dumb up kratos too much in my opinion.

AND MOST IMPORTANTLY WHO WILL PLAY THE CHICK THAT ALWAYS HAS HER BOOBIES HANGING OUT!!!!.......I ELECT JESSICA ALBA FOR THE PART!
 
It's not going to be Paul Anderson (sp?) directing again will it? :indiff: He hasn't done a great job with other video games turned movie.
 
Kratos will either be one of 3 people......

Say goodbye to the good game series...

unless it's a CG game...then they get the people who made final fantasy the movie.....And then it'd be bad azz.

Rock hell no! He'll baby the part up, I could imagine stone cold steve austin taking the part before rock does. Brad pitt is the only person that comes to mind, but I can't imagine him playing it. One thing I hope we can count on is that it's going to be a gorefest. Like Lord of the rings/Spawn.
 
Honestly, I'd prefer the part be played by some unknown actor. Or at least one that's much less well known. I think the personality of the actor, regardless of how good he is, always manages to infest the screen character in some way. If I know nothing of the actor, it's much easier for me to have him fit my image of the character being played.

For example...could anyone tolerate Tom Cruise as Kratos?? I think there'd be riots. :lol:
 
I agree with the undrtaker.

I think Stone Cold Steve Austin could play it pretty well.
Not only that, but gotta support my fellow Texans.
 
OMG you know who would have been perfect for the part. A young Marlon Brando, he's got the face, and he was the best actor alive. But putting him in a video game movie kinda seems weird.
 
I think Krato is just an ashy blackman, look at the size of his lips.

His game voice was black and i think his charactor would be ruined if it was a white actor. Vin Diesel has the look and the voice. He fits this charactor waaay better than Agent 47 *sigh
 
Vin Diesal doesn't even look like kratos, plus he isn't capable of potraying such a character.

Kratos will have to be played by an unknown, and kratos isn't white he's brownish so ain't goin to be some white guy, I hope. somehow they always choose the white guys.
 
The actual look should not matter. Vin looks nothing like Agent 47 from hitman but he got that role. But an unknown actor is the right way to go. He has to be tall but not super built, just toned, say about 6'4".

Wow I hope they do a good job on the movie, I loved the game and I think the movie would certianly kick ass. I'm thinking Gladiator with more blood and gore, plus mythical monsters.

I also agree with using some other actors that aren't well known or not known at all. Give other people a chance! :O

I suggest Bill GOLBERG.....







PS. I personally think that GOLBERG MUST BE LOOKED AT! The directors have to think TWICE before cutting Goldberg out of the audition! If you think he can't do it....then YOUR NEXT!!!! :mad: :lol:
 
Goldberg hmm...never thought of him. But he's too white, Kratos has a pretty dark tan, but I think goldberg has kinda the right attitude and vibe coming out of him. And he's properly built for the job if you ask me.

But consider this, who ever takes the part I think should be able to make that one scene where kratos calls upon Aries to look crazy as hell, the guy has to be able to scream it out. Plus goldberg has a blonde bread thats just not right.

Golberg can tan himself also to avoid make up! :lol: Goldberg would definataly be a good pick in my opinion due to his body and his intimidating look.

The problem I think Goldberg might have is his acting ability. His only movie I think he ever been in was Universal Solders 2. :O

No he has been in that really cool wrestling movie "ready to rumble", he played kind of a hero, but really that role didn't stray to far from his wrestling roles. Wrestlers are actors so they don't have much problems acting, it's just they can look cheesy.

I'll post a pic of how goldberg would possibly look.
 
Wrestling is basically acting anyways so he'd do fine.
