Because it's not everyday that you hear an F1 engine singing.

That's just awesome.

I witnessed one of those earlier this year at the Goodwood FoS (video might even be in the same place). The cars really are very loud. I didn't know the team were going to do that, so I never got to record it. This is what I did capture, though:

Good to see that Renault are taking the final race of the season seriously...! Only joking! Nice find... pretty cool! I guess they should try doing 'Bohemian Rhapsody' next?

Thats really cool :sly: 👍 they should try some other songs now! Must have taken ages to tune the setup to get it all to sound right (like the preprogramming of the rev limit)

Please note that the Renault is also playing "God Bless America" and "Royal Canadian Kilted Yaksmen", too.

Haha now that's cool, maybe they can release an album? :dopey:

At Goodwood they played We Are The Champions, and the national anthems of Britain, France and either Spain or Italy, I forget which.

If they released an album, I'd buy it :)

the things you can do with computer controlled engines these days.....

nice

They make noises like mice compared to the 8,000 Nitro powered Top Fuellers that make thousands death each year at Santa Pod. I swear those engine could give CPR if you collapsed next to one. 💡

They should do a duet. Or get the whole lineup together for carol of the bells.

I remember last year when Renault won the Constructor's Championship, they played 'We Are The Champions' with the engine. I saw it on TV, and I can't find it anywhere.

Except the McLaren will blow up after about 5 seconds :D

Fixed it for ya. :sly:

But really, thats really good.

Renault playing the electric, a top fueler on the bass... All we need is a drummer (& i guess a singer) and we have it...

the first rock band featuring only race cars

You can use my powder blue Nissan Stanza!

A jet car could be a drummer, especially when it's doing it's banging before it's fully prepped.
