Going Sideways

Heya. The only drifting I've noticed you can do in GT4 is plain powersliding. What about going sideways? I mean, drifting through tight corners in such a way that your cars slides sideways thoguh the entire turn. Can you do this? I've noticed I can only manage this on Rally tracks. 💡

Hey, Captain Trips. Welcome to the forum Please use the search tool and read the stickies before making a new thread. Drift techniques have been discussed alot, please post in the existing threads. A quick answer for you, usually AWD cars are able to do completely sideway drifts. You can check out the Drift Settings Depot and check out some settings for AWD cars and try it yourself:tup:

Of course its possible. I pointed out AWD does it pretty easily. hmm didn't expect to see a regular on at this hour what up Mdnite! hha

No need to feel that way, everyone been "new" to a forum before, at least you're learning from mistake. Take some time, browse around the topics here, you'll find/learn a lot of cool stuff about drifting in GT4.

and about your "getting sideways" problem, check out some of the videos here, they're awesome, and I believe they meet every criteria of "getting sideways", either a long corner.... or a tight U-turn.
