Food Places
Totono's Pizza and Lombardi's are the best pizza places for a great authentic New York pie. Then, head over to Katz'a Deli where deli food should always taste like. Try the Carnegie Deli too. Then, you have your hot dog stands. Notice I said "stands" and not "carts." Avoid the carts like they were the plague. Gray's Papaya and Papaya King are the two best, but on Coney Isand there's Nathan's hot dog stand. If you want a fine restaurant steak house, Ben Benson's is your place. Gallagher's Steak House shouldn't be missed either.
Points Of Interest
David Letterman shouldn't be missed. Broadway shows like Billy Crystal's 700 Sundays, The Producers, The Pillowman, The Phantom of the Opera, The Lion Kings, The Light in the Piazza, Mama Mia, La Cage aux Folles, Beauty and the Beast, Avenue Q and A Streetcar Named Desire are great Broadway shows, so take your pick. Museums include American Museum of Natural History, Metropolitan Museum and Museum of the City of New York. For parks, Central Park West, Queens Wildlife Center and the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. For zoos, try Central Park Zoo, New York Aquarium and the Bronx Zoo. Shopping malls, try Saks Fifth Avenue, Macy's Herald Square, Bloomingdale's and Barney's New York.
