Hi, as most of you know, in a few hours there will be new DLC with 4 new cars.

I was wondering, if anyone could possibly do a tune for the Golf R and perhaps the Scirroco R as well.

I wonder if the Brera tuning would be good for the Golf? Or Golf GTI for the Scirroco? Anyway, they are their own cars, so if anyone has any good tuning experience, and would like to put up a tune for either of them, I would be most greatful.

(PS I thought I posted this request yesterday, but I must've closed the browser by mistake).

I will do a tune for the Golf R, it will be up in my garage thread tomorrow evening.

I'd say Golf R32 settings would be fine for the Golf and perhaps Golf GTi settings for the Scirocco, of course I'm just making educated guesses, there's no certain answer at this point. You don't have to worry anyway, most of the big garages will probably have tunes for these two within the first week of them being released. 👍

Yeah we'll have to see, but PD's probably still doing the old copy and paste thing to make "new" cars.

I know I'll be using a Civic tune on the Scirocco, R32 Golf or even Impreza tune for the Golf R, as the ones I use are pretty solid and also extremely versatile.
I've used the Civic tune on lots of FF cars and it works pretty much perfectly everytime. The R32 one needs a little tweaking every now and then, but also works across many 4wd cars.
Similar story with all the other cars coming.

I'm the first to admit I'm not a tuner, but I do like to play around with the settings and with a lot of tweaking have stumbled upon a great all around setting for the Golf R.

This setting is with every upgrade purchased:

Aero:
0/20

Transmission
Top Speed set to 186

LSD:
Initial Torque
8/7
Acceleration Sensitivity
31/29
Brake Sensitivity
19/16

Torque Diff:
15/85

Suspension:
Ride Height
-25/-25
Spring
10.5/12.0
Extension
8/8
Compression
7/7
Roll Bar
6/6
Camber
1.8/1.2
Toe
-.02/+.11

Brake
6/5

As I said I'm not a tuner so it's possible these setting shatter the laws of Physics. But for me at least, they make for a great drive. Best Nordschlieffe time is a 7:19 with racing hards....

Feel free to critique or make suggestions

Tuner Comments:
So the brand new Golf R barely even set tyre in my garage and I already had the carbon glued on and the bonnet up. Tuned up to a surprising 420bhp, this 2.0 turbo Golf has become the perfect German race car. It has precision, stability and good looks.

Take this hatchback out for a spin and see what I mean. It is surprisingly well behaved and can manage some rather scary cornering speeds for a 4wd hatchback with a little weight issue. It also comes ready for racing slicks, should you decide to get serious at a track day...

Here you go.

I know that mine will, as I tuned it while driving with G27.. So, check out the MFT threads first post ;)
