I heard nothing but bad things about S25U. I'm using a S23U right now and I have no plans to buy a new one anytime soon.Out of interest, any one who has got a S25 Ultra, how do you find the speaker quality? I got mine just over a week ago but only got around to setting it up yesterday. It sounds quite a bit worse than my S23 Ultra. It has like a tinny sound to all voices, sounds quite low quality. Everything sounds shrilly, even notification sounds sound bad. I wonder if that is just how they are or I just got unlucky with a faulty unit. Seeing some posts online, there are users complaining about quality but there are people that are happy with theirs saying it is a big step up in that department.
Only problem for me is I ordered the 1TB Jet Black version from Samsung direct and it has been out of stock to even order since launch until today when they have finally got a delivery date of 24/03/2025 so over a month away so not sure if worth the hassle of potentially waiting over a month for replacement if it sounds just as bad / get unlucky with a faulty unit again if that is what it is. Best case scenario, a software update can fix it if it is a bug that is making everything sound low bit depth. Might just go back to the S23 Ultra.
That seems absurdly expensive for a Galaxy A16? Are you sure they weren't suggesting an A26?Should we get a Samsung Galaxy A16? They're selling them at our local Verizon store for $300. I'll see what other cheap smartphones they have. Ours is over 4 years old. We bought our Samsung Galaxy S9 at Walmart for $800 in November 2020. What good reliable phones do you guys have that me and my mother can research and look into getting?
We called Verizon back the other day and the woman said that they had a Galaxy A16 on sale for $160 plus tax. We're going to buy it in the next 2 weeks, she said it's on sale until the end of the month. You can still get online on it and save/store your pictures on the phone which is what we want. That seems absurdly expensive for a Galaxy A16? Are you sure they weren't suggesting an A26?
Great, how much did you pay for yours? We're trying to look for the cheapest one.I have one that works.
Is signal of Three good where you are? I think them not having 2G and then cut off 3G had a bad effect on their coverage. Maybe Vodafone merger will help things in the long run for them. EE tends to have the best coverage and speed. If you wanted to have unlimited data without being in a contract and no price rises, the cost of two sims should be £33.75 on 1pMobile (EE network) with BROOKES25 10% discount code. Thought I'd mention it in case you are still in cooling off period. However, I do understand though there is benefits of being on contracts for improving credit rating and sometimes using for identity proof. So we now (wife & I) have iPhone 17’s and I’ve just updated our mobile contract. We’re on unlimited data, calls & SMS which was £25 per month, however that came to an end this month, so I was looking to drop the cost. Three gave me the same plan but for £15 per month with the obligatory increase next year and the year after but not at the same crazy prices of a new contract. So even with two years price increases it’s only going to be a max of £18.

Double-tap to wake/sleep is an essential for me, I couldn't go back to a phone without it. For some strange reason though, I can't double-tap to sleep from my lockscreen - the LG G2 could do this 12 years ago, I don't know why Google hasn't enabled this.I was stuck having to use the workaround of double tapping the screen in order to turn it off and on.
