So, today I was having one of those great days where you get up, eat, then take a nap...
I was later checking headlines on the MSN.com homepage and came across some sad news.

Suzanne Pleshette, the actress who played Bob Newhart's wife in the Bob Newhart show passed away today at the age of 70, after a battle with cancer.
She was receiving chemo for her illness.
She was a beautiful woman, with a deep, sultry voice that could arouse a eunich.
RIP Suzanne.:(

I'm too young to have seen that show, but if you speak the truth in describing her then she will be missed by many.

Yeah, when I heard the news, I felt a little pang that no one under 40 will understand.

Saw a similar thread on FerrariChat, so had to do some research.
And you're right. She was a beautiful woman, but much before my time.

R.I.P.

I just turned 38 two days ago, and she escapes even me. Although, I do recognize the name and her contributions to television.

She'll be missed. RIP

You should search out episodes of the Bob Newhart show.
Surely Nick at Nite or TV Land is showing reruns...
If not, they should be.

And for the record, the '70s is the time that the children of the '60s put away most of the drugs, but retained the "style".
