my friend wants to challenge me in a drag race with only the hatchbacks, the sir-II version, he said you can spend as much as you want. i can only get around 15,xxx, any help would be much appreciated. ;)

You want to avoid weight transfer since it's an FWD car. So get the race suspension, keep it low, and stiffen the rear all the way up in bound, rebound, and springs. Leave the fronts fairly soft.

Lighten the car all the way and go with T8s at least on the front. I don't think rolling resistance is modelled, but putting stock tires out back can't hurt.

Get the full-race LSD and transmission. Set your accel effect way up, and your initial torque low. Do the gear trick on the transmission: Set Final Drive all the way to the right, then set the Auto Set all the way to the left. After you set the Auto Set, do not touch it again! Adjust your gearing by reducing the final drive number until you get the best times, but readjusting the Auto Set will screw up the ratios.

Go for the biggest turbo, since lag will actually help your launches. If it's legal, set TCS to 1 or maybe 2, no higher. Consider launching in 2nd gear.

Hope this helps.
