Recap:

What's your Budget?
What brands do you prefer?
What shops do you like buying from in your country?
Are you willing to spend half an hour on a weekend learning how to build a computer?
Or do you want a pre-built system?

And tons of other crap you don't need or want to know. :)

Budget is about 1000-2000$
I prefer Acer, HP or Toshiba. Mostly Acer. I've two Acers, none of them ever had a single problem, so I know I can trust Acers.
Shops I ain't sure of.
And I want a pre-built system.

WHOAH! 1 - 2 grand! I'm jealous :p

However for that money you really should build your own computer. However you seem to be quite adamant on not doing that, which is very very disappointing. I'll do some research today and get back with some suggestions.

1000-2000 dollars is about 5000-10,000 kroner (Norwegian currency) which isn't really much because of the inflation. A new video game is usually 600 kroner. And I really think building a computer is kinda hard, and as I have said, im rubbish at technological things.

Like we've explained to you, making a computer is basically idiot proof. It takes all of 20 minutes on a YouTube video or two to work out how to do it. You just screw it all together and turn it on. It's more difficult using a digital camera these days, then building a computer.

I'm totally going to ruin what little of a reputation I have here, but:

If I can do it, you can do it 100x better.

However, if that's what you want, then that's that. It's just such a waste. Anyway, Like I said, gimme another hour or two and I'll bring a few things up.

Well if he has the same concerns as me its not the nuts and bolts of building a pc so much as its getting the software installed and working. Having the right drivers and all that good stuff is what my concerns are.

Just let it go Tlowr. If the man does not want to build a computer then he does not want to build one. For that kind of budget you can easily afford an great gaming system. I would not be surprised if the system came with an HD 7970 graphics card. Perhaps even a 2011 Intel socket CPU.

Building a PC is not a major challenge - until one of the components don't work and it doesn't boot past BIOS or drivers won't install for whatever insane reason.

Thats my concerns about building my own pc. If any of that happened id be clueless on what to do to solve the problem.
