good place to buy a G27

I searched the forum and didn't find anything.


I've checked logitechs website and they are out of stock (and they do not say when they will get more). I've also checked other place and I found a few that have them in stock but I've never heard or bought from the sites so I'm kinda iffy.

where did you buy yours?

They're not easy to find, that's for sure. And anyone that does have them in stock is selling them for well above retail. I decided to just place an order with Logitech and wait till May when they are supposed to be back in stock. Hoping my next replacement DFGT that I get will last till then....
 
Amazon are selling them last time i looked. I think for £300-350

so MAY is when they say they get it back in stock :grumpy: (can't believe they don't say that right on their site). any way I think I'm going to do what you did and just order from logitech and just wait :grumpy:. I already have DFGT wheel and it's great, but I want something more.

really, yours had a G27? I bought my DFGT wheel at game stop but they don't have a G27 (I'm not 100% sure on that tho). I'll stop by gamestop tomm and ask, but I doubt they do. I can't believe all these places are out of stock :grumpy:

Yeah, it might be mine though. They said they got a new shipment on the 31st. I'm really suprised that the only wheels that Fry's carries are those Mad Catz and NASCAR wheels.
 
play.com have them in stock, I ordered one on wednesday for 229 pounds. I think they are still in stock.
 
GAMESTOP does not have it.

PLAY.COM has it in stock, but I can't find out if they ship to the states? (doesn't look like they do).

I got lucky from craigslist and got it for cheap! I cancelled my logitech order.

there are no problems with it? I might have to buy this, but I'm also working on my cars and rather have the money go into real cars then fake ones..........IDK I might get it 👍
 
I ended up finding a place (BN.COM, something like that. there was a link on logitech.com to it). they had the G27 for $300 (in stock) and finally when the money transfers over to my credit card I go to buy it and they don't have it any more (couldn't find it). so I just ended up buying it from LOGITECH.COM and I'm just going to have to wait :grumpy:

from what I've been told they are supposed to get a shipment in May (not sure when in May).
 
I got mine at logitech's website. I did the trade in program as I still had a very old broken trackball mouse from logitech to get 20% off. Shipments were free for both the wheel and the mouse I sent to them. The total I paid for it was $264 US, ~10% tax in California so yeah. Downside though was that I got the wheel in ~2 weeks.

I am not sure if bestbuy still sells them, but last year around July they had a 4th of July sale in I think G25 or G27 for $150! I got so mad when I saw them, just 2 hours passed the sale.

lol, that sucks. good deal though on the price. I'm just mad because on LOGITECHs site they don't say anything about when they will get another shipment, you would think they would tell you a ballpark date :grumpy:

Call the sales line on the website, they will tell you when they expect it.

Yeah, I went through the same thing as well. At first it was alright checking everyday when I have the time, but it got really frustrating when it turns to weeks. However, I don't know where you live, but I actually kinda figured that you should check the website 9-11 am and 3-5 pm pacific time. They actually have the item available, but they sell out at a matter of minutes. One time though, they had the item available overnight, didn't bought it right off the bat as I was contemplating on buying it.

Check newegg.com though, they have an email alert once it becomes available. If you have a smartphone, it should be a very process for you. What I didn't like about newegg is that their shipping is hefty, well because they are 15 miles out of los angeles, and I'm from la so paying 20-30 usd seems like a roberry for me since its not even a 2 hour drive.

Well not everyday, but I've seen it being available a couple of times a day when I was in the market for one.

I will be talking to customer service about this (didn't talk today, because I'm off school and work so I got drunk lol)
 
I've checked the Logitech site multiple times throughout the day/ evening since I placed my order, and I haven't seen them say in stock once yet.

I called LOGIETECH today, they are expecting to get a shipment MAY 27th. This is going to be a long month, on the good side the semester will be over May 15th so I'll have more time to play when it comes

sadly yes, that is why I said the hell with it and payed extra for one day shipping. I'm already spending that much money and waiting that long, what's a little extra money to get it to my house as fast as possible
