Im looking for some good rally cars to start out with there is a special event that requires you to bring your own rally car that has less than 246 Hp and dirt tires. What should I get, obviously the 850,000 Cr rally cars are not an option, so I have to build my own.

All the usual AWD candidates have too much power:grumpy:, STI, EVO, FOCUS, so what car should I get? And if not AWD, then front, right? Anyways, thanks in advance for the input!

I used the Lancia Delta. A couple of small upgrades and it's perfect.

Actually, there is a 4WD option under 246hp.
It's the 2002 Audi S3. You find it in the used car dealership from time to time.

I have yet to try it, but I remember buying this car specifically for that reason.

88' celica gt-four:tup:

i used a stock clio v6 and i won it easy.

I used the rx7 fc (premium one), and got gold with it. So pretty much anything works.

Lancia Delta, nothing like Rally Heritage to count on!

Yep, the premium delta tuned for beginner/intermediate and the s4 (prize car)for advanced.. was passing 2 or 3 cars ahead of me each event. Just have to remember on the road events to sack it out and soften your suspension.

I used a Megane. It was in my garage, hadn't driven it, but it worked.
I used a 3000GT for the intermediate event, and that was a breeze except for the tarmac event. Tuned Lotus Elise was a runaway for that one, even though it was under 300hp.

Lancia Delta, tuned a bit for the first one. Or go for used Lancer Evolution I-III - but don't even change the oil, as it has perfect 250KM and if you do, it will jump to 262KM. Yeah, I speak from experience, hah.

For intermediate use the Evo - or WRX STi, up to you, whatever you prefer.

I tuned the '08 Civic Type R to 244bhp - easy to win and 144,000 total prize money!!!

You can't go far wrong with a tuned ITR (premium of course) ;) 👍

DO NOT use an AE86 corrolla like I just did, thought it would be good and Mk2 escort-esque, but its really not.:ouch:

I will be trying the Lancia Delta I have but foolishly forgot about when it came to choosing a car for this event!

I used a Citroen C4 2.0 VTS - tuned to 239hp. Won it easy. Could only bronze the tarmac one with that, but that was enough to win the prize car which I then used to gold the tarmac event.

How do you win the gravel events?? I always come last with seconds behind, despite driving as fast as possible. But on snow, i win them by a minute! I'm using lancia delta, with torque ratio 30-70 to drift through corners (utherwise it understeers into fence) and more power at the rear brakes to initiate an oversteer.

I can get gold on both the advanced snow and tarmac and win both by over a minute. I can only ever come last on the gravel one though

'82 Audi Quattro from the used car lot got the job done for me.

I used a 98 Celica GT-Four at 238bhp, will need some upgrades though, but don't change the oil.

205 t16

I ended up using a Ford Focus RS '02, that did fit in even after the oil change.

peugot 205 t16 mildly tuned for gravel and snow.

used the ft-86, mildly tuned, for the asphalt section.

used wrx for intermediate ice and gravel(won by akmost 2 mins on snow)
and a '98 s4 for tarmac.

still trying to win loeb's charmonix challenge for a free wrc car, have the first two golded with a few secs to spare, there is a lot of time to be made in those first ones, the snow is giving me hell though

I used...

Beginner: lancia delta

Inter: Subaru Impreza 22b STI

Expert: Lancia delta S4

i've used a tuned 3000GT and it's just plain fun to race this car :)

I have to say, the ownage on the rally tracks is sweet with my DMC DeLorean '09.

Nissan 240RS Rally Car.

~230ish hp and really fun to drive.

If you want I've got some up for trade ;)

I used a tuned Neon SRT4 with 245hp and a ralley delta race car I won beating the gallardo race event.
