Good thing the gears are adjustable.

First gear on the ZX-10R in the game ends at 44mph. I know for a fact that it ends around 105mph in real life from personal experience. I don't know how Polyphony could overlook something like this, but at least it's adjustable.

Sounds a bit odd. In the Japanese version the 10R hits the red line at 99 mph.

I just took a zx10-r out in usa version and it hits 101mph in 1st gear that was in arcade mode and its just hit same speed in TT world mode, sure you werent wheelspinning like mad:)

The 10R hits the red line at 99 and the rev limiter at 101 in the JPN version. I just realised that Goldfingiz is probably referring to the gearing of the Racing Modified 10R…

Goldfingiz, if you have superbike experience, you should be well aware that racing bikes, especially fictitious racing bikes, do not have the same gearing as their road-going brethren.
 
I have motorcycle experience but didn't even realize I was using the race version last night! I hadn't slept in two days lol. That explains it. I'll have to try out the street version tonight.
