Good Wav to MP3 Converter?

Dont give me that crap...please? Of course I googled and I wasn't successful which is why this is my last resort. I downloaded 4 of them, 3 of which were trials that converted 1 out of 7 minutes and the 4th (Some Daniusoft crap) didn't convert very good quality at all. It turned 150mb into 6.8 which sounded absolutely crap.

So, anyone want to actually help me?

You tried prism?

Prism does video, for audio formats you want Switch. Small, light, supports a wide range of formats (aac, aiff, mp3, wav, flac, ogg, wma, plus some really obscure ones) and fast Audacity seems a bit overkill for something as trivial as converting formats.

I use winLAME, myself. There is even a version of it that you don't need to install.

Prism does video, for audio formats you want Switch. Small, light, supports a wide range of formats (aac, aiff, mp3, wav, flac, ogg, wma, plus some really obscure ones) and fast Audacity seems a bit overkill for something as trivial as converting formats.

This one won me over, if Audacity is too much and this program is small and easy I guess it is the choice to make.

I downloaded it in 1 second (not even kidding), installed it in 2 and converted in around 10. Cheers everyone for the effort as we don't usually see too much effort around this section...
