I'm leaving.

I just got another infraction point for discussing illegal activities, and anything more than that and I get my lifetime premium cancel and get banned from coming to GTplanet. I just don't know, maybe like Sakiale (and his other usernames) I just cannot stop making nonsense out of the posts I make. Also it seems every time I feel stressed I get an infraction? Coincidence? Yeah, I wish that too......

So yeah, I rather leave GTP and never come back again rather than hang around and risk my lifetime premium account getting banned. The only way I could come back is either the admins/moderators remove my infractions points (which would never happen I guess....) But I will still be around Facebook, Myspace and MSN like usual so if you want to contact me please go ahead. For those who don't know my email or whatsoever can just ask anyone that knows me. I'm sure there is a few of them who knows me......
As for hosting the Un-Edited Competition in the Photomode Competition sub forum, I guess if anyone is up to it they can host it for me.

Before I leave, I would like to say thank you GTP for all the memories I have here. For now, I'll end my post with saying
goodbye and sayonara to everyone here........​
 
Well, I'll miss you on here. We're still Facebook friends. And you already know I'll still be here making my own material on GTPlanet.

Please return sooner or later. I took a two and a half month break to mature a little and re-think my way of going about business. As of now, I have 25 infraction points, and I have been doing my best to keep being banned from becoming a reality. That's why I only got a year of GTPremium. I'll miss you man, return soon. Maybe by the time you get back, I'll have a new face.

Don't do break the AUP and you won't have to worry about getting infractions that lead to permabans.

If you've spotted that coincidence, then perhaps the answer is to not post here when you're stressed? 💡

Being stressed is:

a) not an excuse for violating a very clear AUP for this site.

and

b) impossible for any member here, moderator or not, to detect purely on the basis of a few words in a website post unless you specifically address that point within your post.

Stick around, follow the rules, enjoy the Premium membership you paid for and have fun.
If you feel stressed or are concerned about the possibility of violating the AUP with what you're thinking of posting, look at the "CURRENTLY ACTIVE USERS" list at the bottom of the main forum index and send a PM to any of the staff members that're online at that time to ask if what you want to post is acceptable.

Yeah, muzzy, chill. Take a break if you want, though. That helped me.

Anyway, learn from what I did. I'm hangin' on my last thread as far as infarctions go, so I withdrew to the Jedi enclave for a couple months so I could get my self-control game up under a pimp named yoda. I took however long I needed to make sure my game was straight up retarded. It takes a lot of strength to hold back on a face-melting post and click delete.

I don't see why you should leave. :odd: I have infractions too, for good reasons, but I carry them with pride, instead of giving up and and leaving. if you give up because of what someone faceless person said or did on internet where it's basically just bunch of zeros and ones on your screen, what will happen when you face a REAL problem in REAL LIFE?

I got banned, and now on my 2nd account I only have 1 infraction left (as Famine put it, a courtesy extended to all previously banned users). I've stayed away from the kind of threads I'd get heated in since returning. It's easy, just don't get any more infractions.

I've been here for 4 and a half years and never received any infractions. (I don't think I have anyway!)

Is it really that hard not to break the AUP?
 
Find some other activity to take your stress out on. Use GTP (and other boards if you use other boards) to chill.

Y'know, not meaning to sound harsh, but I really can't stand these "I'm leaving and never ever ever coming back..." threads. Particularly when:

  • There's no apparent logical reason behind the person leaving ("I'm off to Antarctica for 4 years" is a reason. "I've got 2 infractions" or "I'll only be able to visit 3 times a day instead of 7" are not)
  • There's about two of these threads a week now
  • 90% of the people that vow never to return pop back again in a month, neigh a week's time and stay after all... I'd bet £500 this will be the case here too. Unless you are in fact banned. Either way, I can assure you that this won't be the last time you type gtplanet.net into your browser.
From what I've seen, you're a good guy. You don't generally post rubbish, you make a degree of sense, and you've made a lot of friends. The only reason I'm replying to this is because of that - normally I'd simply ignore one of these.

Respect for you before this thread: plentiful.

As you said yourself you got another infraction for discussing illegal activities. You therefore knew whatever you were discussing was against the AUP... but you did it anyway (whatever it was).


Like the people before me, no sympathy here. You choose to break the rules, you have to deal with the consequences.
 
Man, I'm weirded out. I've never gotten any infractions or anything and I've been pretty impulsive at times.

Honestly, it's not worth leaving, but if you are whatever. I feel that this thread will (and maybe should) be locked after a few pages. Uguu...

My time is shorter (two and a half?) and haven't gotten any, either. You're no example, you're a settled adult - way beyond that dangerous demographic. :p
