They just recently got pics of my area.

I really live on Anchors Pl. but Google messed it up and named it Boxer Ave.

Aye! They must have taken pics of my area in summer 2007, just after we all were forced by the city to repair our curbs and driveways and whatnot. Tell you what, the place look slike hell during late summer with the dead grass and whatnot.

You have to repair your own curbs? like the concrete?

Yeah, they did a city-wide repair of broken curbs and stuff--and made us pay for it. We could hire our own company, but if we didn't make the deadline then a city-appointed company would take care of it for a ridiculous charge. Doing the whole driveway was our own decision.

Wow, that's a pretty nice home you got there TB 👍!

Thanks, Joey. It does the job. :p

The part that has me worried is my wife and I are already considering something larger in around 5 years.

Um, I heard you like garages, so I put a garage on your garage so you can park when you park.

Jealous much? :p

From right to left - Civic and Pilot in the 2 stall section and kids stuff, bikes, lawnmower, snowblower, tools, etc. in the single stall. I need all the room I can get! :D

Nah, I have enough trouble paying Florida homeowners on 1500 feet! Since Charlie, Frances, Ivan, and Jeanne in 2004, then Dennis and Wilma in 2005 (not to mention Katrina elsewhere!), my homeowner's has tripled! (Those two seasons were a huge statistical anomaly, and they haven't seemed to notice that Florida hasn't had a hurricane make landfall since!)

OTOH, I don't need space for a snowblower!!!

BTW, Panama City made Street View in the last coupla weeks. It's been quite a while, almost a year, since the camera car was spotted here.

Street View hasn't been on for ages, has it been removed?
Seriously? All of the blue, besides the water, of course, is Street View of Australia.

They should just street view all of Australia just for the hell of it. Like fly a plane across with streetview equipment.

You have to clock and drag the person icon you'll see above the zoom bar on the left of the map. When you drag that person onto the map roads will turn blue.

I found the flat I lived in during my October visit to Paris! In all it's glory, Rue Saint-Placide 36 - between the optician and the lingerie store. Google Street-View is unbelievably awesome - I can trace every step I took during my Paris visit! Too bad they don't have Berlin or Tel Aviv covered - would be nice to check up on Berlin again.

The street view button at the top isn't there... and the blue road lines aren't appearing either... :(

EDIT:

The cute little yellow/orange dude on the top left of the screenshot you posted.

I think they already have all of the roads in Oz covered, judging by the pics in this thread...

EDIT: My area is now, sweet. :)

Additionally, if you search for an address and street view is available, a clickable thumbnail comes up on the map automatically, as shown in the first post of the thread.
