got any Logitech GT Force wheel tips?

oook i just gota wheel and i've been have a little trouble getting started with it =\

mostly having sippinning and underserteering while counter steering problems.

if anyone has any tips that would be great :)

keep practicing thats the answer. If it is your first game wheel ever like in my situation thats all you need to do. at first i couldn't dare drive a car over 300hp with a wheel, it would spin out etc. but after like 3 days of practicing i got used to it.

(i got used to it by doing the roadster enduro two times and a few other enduros after that.)
sorry if the post doesn"t help but i think it should, if not wait for cuda or someone else who is better than me (which is almost everyone :( ) .... :D
 
Yeah I went through the same phase. Often I couldn't gain traction I would just fishtail back and forth trying to calm the damn thing down.

One thing that I found really helped was the "Professional" steering assist. You might give it a shot. Some people like the Simulation setting too.
 
i dont konw if u changed it..

but make sure u goto steering option to professional setting.

for some reason simulation setting will NOT! let you turn the wheel to the opposite direction all the way when cornerning hard.
 
i was using pro for a while then i tried amature and the counter steering got easier


pergatory: heh i know what you mean after a drift and i hit a straight away i'll fish tail down the whole thing ><
 
Im used to it now. Just lookoing for drifts with the wheel. because they seem to take more skill (obviously) and look cooler watching them balance gas and brake.

I drive it two hands when going down straights...but then I use one hand almost 99 percent of the time when I'm drifting a corner, my right hand is positioned on my dual shock controller to shift and for ebrake use. Maybe I should record myself doing it. If enough people want to see I might do it.
 
Another tip is to not fight with the wheel. It it wants to turn left or right slightlty...be easy with it and release your grip from the wheel and let it go its normal behavior then regrip the wheel and control it.

I'll repeat what has been said already...it just takes practice, but I recommend that you learn it... drifting is alot funner with it.

Pro mode means the wheel is very sensitive and a small turn from center will make the car turn almost immediatly, beginner mode means you have some tolerance in the center, don't be afraid to go lock to lock....its not a real wheel so your goign to have to compensate for the loss of 2 full wheel turns in real cars.
 
Kinda, if you wanna just forget about the clutch. :odd: It'd be weird though, I don't think it'd be that effective.
