That's if his PS2 is Japanese or Modded. My swap disk loaded the game to the start screen and froze. Now I just get a red border at the insert disk screen.

Nope. There are lots of Japanese living here in Oregon. Not as many as there are in California though, or probably even Washington.

There is an bundle from Japan that you can import. I believe it's the "white" PStwo(slim) with an copy of GT4. Only thing about that though is the Japanese consoles cost more. It might still be $300 just for the console. It's the package I want and am hoping something like that will be released here in the U.S., but it's kind of doubtful, because P.D. doesn't do much for the U.S. Fans(crazy!).
