Got my Forza 4 LCE today!! Notes and gripes...

Yay, my first thread "drag race" đź‘Ť

Looks like Game in the UK (who I believe are part of the same organization as GameStation) are also shipping their LCEs out early.

Can anyone confirm minimum install sizes? Is it like FM3 where you only have to install a certain bit of data from a 2nd disc? I've only got 1.3gb of space on my console!

The minimum requirement for full access of the game is 3gb. Full install takes 10.4. I still got my old 20gb harddrive, and only have 5gb left, got a bit scared when i saw that 10.4 gb lol.

"Similar to Forza 3, the game will need an install inorder to access an entire disc worth of extra cars, it will takes up around 3GB of data."

I already got a USB drive plugged in. Just don't have a solid 11G free on any one device. lol. I'll just move the FM3 to the main hard drive and install FM4 on the USB since it's 16G. That way I can move back and forth from my two 360's without the hassle of pulling the hard drive all the time.

On the M5 DLC, they say "exclusive content". I understand that it may not be available right now, but how is it exclusive?

I may be wrong, but I thought the M5 was exclusive to LCE for now?

Nope, day 1 free DLC.

It's actually on the dashboard now. Also, it has the American car pack with it but you can't access them unless you pay for it or get LCE/Season Pass.

Here's what i was asking but i found it there seems to now be a way that you can now paint headlights, when you swap exhaust out you get aftermarket exhuast and you can remove spoilers here's the vid i found. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW-HhLr3ijo

It might affect performance though unless you got a reasonably fast USB drive.
 
This thread made me squirm, i can't wait to play, but no release until friday in the EU :( so excited!!!

Load times don't bother me too much as long as they aren't ridiculous
 
Anyone of you guys who have the game. How is the drag racing? Is burnout and staging involved or is it still just as unrealistic?

No drag racing, I'm level 20, 5th year in the career (expert series), nothing yet...

I got an overdose of FM4, might play again tomorrow... :sick:

No luck at my local Gamestop either:indiff:. Only 11 more hours to go here though:D

I'm not going to be able to sleep. LOL 10.5 hours

I'm off the next three days though, hope my GT2 doesn't burn up haha.

I haven't been that much into drag racing earlier but it would be great to have some info on it. =) At least the tires, for sure you can install them on your car and have a few launches?
 
Right now my LE is in Kentucky. They estimate it will be at my house around 4:30pm. Which from all the other pre-orders, that I've done, with Release Date Delivery, sounds about right. Won't be able to play it though, until I get home from work, around 11:30pm.
 
Mine is in Livonia, Michigan... about 20 miles from my house. But, seeing as how it's a processing center, I'm worried it won't get here today.
 
Ill be heading to BestBuy in about 30 mins to grab my copy. Lets see if they have any LCE's available..
 
Just got mine, I've entered the three codes and now I'm waiting to install. I also thought I was going to break the metal case trying to open it, that thing sure wanted to stay shut.

The book has some beautiful renders, and the stickers look pretty good, can't imagine where I'll put them though.
