Tell the police about Clinton or Timmy (what weird names). The threat Timmy and Alex told you about is probable cause for a warrant of his place to look for the equipment.
 
in parts of africa, one of the africas at least, the car protection is a built in flame thrower. check legality. probably isn't, but it ought to be.
 
So, I'm guessing this Timmy dude was your friend?

Hmm...so your car was outside, was the garage full or something? Anyway, go kick that dude's arse and his car.
 
Speaking of bikes being stolen, i had 3 bikes stolen from me in less than 3 months. 'twas not a good time.

Just about the same kind of thing happened to me. I had just put on my system, three amps, two 15" rockfords, Denon deck, ect, ect... I was quick to give people the tour. I was proud of it, I worked hard for it, and was proud of "my" install. Well, someone, some night broke into my car, busted the glass, stole the deck, CD's but left the speaker box up on end where they tried to get it out. They didn't know that in order to get 'that' box out, you had to take one of the front doors off, and one of the front sets out. Unscrew all 22 speaker screws and unbolt the box which was bolted through the trunk, anyways...

Reported it to the police, I heard through the grape vine who did it, and it was also a friend (well more of an associate that I thought was a quasi-friend). I gave this info to the PI which he followed up on. The PI found loads of equipment at his grandmas house in the garage. They were planning on going to Spokane, WA the next day to unload it all.

I was promised financial compensation for the CD's that were stolen and I got my deck back. The deck now scratched all my CD's that I put into it, but being a $600 deck that the factory couldn't repair, the place I bought it from trade it for a home system 'Kenwood' (I was done with car audio....) I got a $900 home system for the price of a 1 year old $600 deck, good deal right?

Anyhow, I saw him some time later at a pool hall, where I approached him. He was all freaking out, thinking I was going to beat the living **** out of him (which I felt like doing..., I despise thieves) but I just told him to make it right. I never saw him again. Two years later I got a check from the Country Atterny's office for $275 for the 15 CD's that were sold to the pawn shops and for the damage to the window. Even with interest, I came ahead.

I had made my peace with the guy, and I was justly compensated. Two years after that, last I heard, he was in Spokane, where he was mugged from behind and killed! Someone was more pissed than I was....

I think there's a moral in there somewhere, but mainly I do totally understand where your coming from..

Yup, saw that stuff in a Car and Driver article. Man, it's crazy over there! They also have that bar that snaps out from underneath the car to cause great damage to the hijacker's legs.

Josh -My sympathy goes out to you. But please, if you must take revenge on him, can you at least promise us that it won't be something stupid that could land you a big fine or jail time?

Well now Josh you gotta come up with ways of revenge.

I suggest the following:
Find this Ford Exploder.
Take a crow bar and pry the back door, better yet pry them all. Not just in one spot, all the way around the door, even the front of the doors, that'll work great.
DO NOT break the windows.
If the doors are unlocked, lock em and superglue pieces of metal(get a metal bar, small enough to put into a lock, and not sticking out) in the locks, all of them, lift gate too. The more glue, the better. Even glue the handles, and windshield wipers. Glue the pieces at the base of the windows on the door so that a slim jim won't work.
Get some valve stem pullers and take out the valves on atleast 2 wheels. Quickly put the caps back on. Scratch on the hood "Check your tire pressure" or something like that, then when they unscrew the caps, thier tires are totally flat in about 20 secs. You DO NOT want to pull the valves out and let them deflat, it creates a pretty loud hiss and wistle, and you'll be heard.
Take the plates. Take em and cut em up and stash them away, or throw them in a dumpster not near your house.
Most important, use gloves. You don't wanna get hurt or leave prints.

Ohh, and about stuff being stolen...I haven't had anything worth more than say $10 stolen from me.

I have had attempted theft at school though. Last year a Junoir kidnapped one of the last Mazda Tech Training mechanical pencils. I found him with it, asked him how he got it, he admitted that he took it, but when I got it back, the clip was gone. Not a biggie, but still pissed me off.
Then like 2 weeks ago a Junoir in tech attempted to jack my 2 sided Mazda fine line and highlighter in 1, luckily the bottom cap jammed in my suitcase(more like a messenger bag), but he violently ripped the cap off the top and took off. I got one of the steel yard sticks and ran after him acting like I was going to take a chop at his neck, and he went running. He was stopped by the teacher, I got my cap, we both got detentions, he went, I didn't, and nothing else has happened to me.

I usually try to aviod situations where stuff can be stolen. It's actually worked for me.

See thats where i wouldve got a baseball bat and wacked that guy until he was bloody and saying he was sorry actually i would still beat him. im not kidding.
 
I got the 2 12's in the box back, my Alpine deck, a 600 watt amp that's not mine, and a brand new Sony deck. I've also been told I'd get paid for the broken window, and for the damage they did to the rear door.

All I had to do was go make a few threats to his mom, dad, and little brother, and by 1:00pm he met me, and two other people, at his place of work with all of the stuff. He said that it wasn't him who did it. I asked who did, and he said some kid named Matt, and his cousin, but Tim confessed to driving them to my house so they could steal it. Originally he was just going to give me the 2 12's, and my old deck, because they had already sold my amps, but I told him that was unacceptable. He walked over to his Explorer, and yanked his new Sony deck(which is probably stolen too:rolleyes:) out of his dash, and his amp. He told me I could keep those, and he'd still get me another amp, and the money for my car. My dad still wants to press charges against all of them, but I'm not even sure if we can seeing as how I took the stuff back. Can he?:confused:

I called the police officer that came over last night, and he said he would be over sometime tonight to get the full story from me, but he never came.

These kids are some of the biggest morons ever. Who breaks into someone's car, steals their ****, and gives it back the very next day? Not very bright if you ask me.

I'm still kind of shocked from all of it. It's going to be hard to trust people after this.:irked:
 
I know how you feel... Always hard to park your car in a public place after something like that, trust me.

At least they just took the stereo, not the whole car...
 
an ass isn't only a donkey, you "sick bastards". it has a lot more meaning than a donkey over here in the USA, if you other Americans catch my drift. I dunno about you guys in australia or where ever the hell your from, but all guys over here will agree, asses of the opposite sex are great! 👍

and josh, if your old friend ever gets anything on his car, and you know he did it, where a ski mask, take that new equip. off/out of his car, make a lot of racket, and take the piece and smash it into 2 inch pieces.:cheers:

Oh, and my mom stole 50$ from me once. Mom's stolen a few other things since then, also.

Josh, I don't know if I'd like to admit it, but I've had my car(s) broken into 3 times over the past 10 years. So I know the pain, frustration, and anger involved in your typical breaking 'n' entering of an automobile. It just plain sucks.

Thje cops are never a help. I lost a CD player last May, right in front of my apartment. I feel stupid because I was up late, was tired, and told the dog to shut the hell up because I was so sleepy. He was probably telling me that some jackass was mobbing my Pioneer, but unfortunately used the same tone he uses when he's just seen a cat...

Revenge is sweet. Don't do anything too stupid; eye for an eye, or at least a good ass-whooping ought to do. Anyone who brags about hoe he could steal a system is no acquaintence you could ever need in your life. Download a copy of James Brown's "The Big Payback", listen to it about 3-4 times, and go kick some monkey ass for me. I've got your back should he stroll into Margate, Florida, anyhow.

Ah, just seen that you got your stuff back, Josh. I'm happy for you. Pretty nice how he gave you his new deck, though. Eh, atleast he was nice enough to give the stuff back. :p

I am however suprised at all the revenge talk comming from some of the "moderators" :odd: Not to mention some of the language that has been permited on this thread. But you guys are the moderators so you decide what's right and wrong on your board I guess.
 
Sorry to hear what happen to you josh you must have been seriously pissed with your former mates. I hope you bashed their cars and heads in :mad:
 
They still have to pay for the window, and damage done to my driver side rear door. I already told two of them that they could pay for the damage done to my car, or pay for the damage done to their's, but I don't think they understood what I was saying.:rolleyes:

Today me and about 7 others were standing outside, and Timmy drove by with 3 people in his Explorer. Some kid in the back yelled out, "I'm gonna ****in' kill you!," as they drove by. We all just laughed. I'm sure death threats aren't going to help their situation out at all - idiots.

I think it's time for me to call the police station, and start *****ing. They still haven't called me back, or tried to contact us in any way.:rolleyes: Cops... what are they good for?
