GPU question

Alright i've got a 8800gts 320mb factory overclocked by EVGA and have just been offered a Gainward 8800gts 640mb brand new in box for around half the retail price. I was wondering if it is worth me going for it as i run most games at 1440x900.

I'd say there would be little to minimum difference, even at that resolution - no way worth the upgrade, even if it is half the retail price.

From what I've read, the 320MB variation of the 8800GTS is nearly as good for most games as the 640MB version at resolutions below 1680x1050. Like I said, this is only in most games and doesn't include certain texture-heavy games, but at those resolutions you're not really going to notice a difference.

Now if you are looking to run at a higher resolution, it may be a good idea to try and pawn off the 320MB to upgrade.
