GR1 Hybrid power problem?

With BoP yes they'll be too OP, but if the other Gr. 1 cars are fully upgraded the hybrids would be pointless since even at full power they are at best at par with the other Gr. 1s. I'm thinking of a compromise and add a new option called "Battery depletion"

Well, consider the Chiron/Bugatti VGT has around 700hp and is heavier then other Gr.1 cars, Porsche with 900hp and lighter trimm would beat it in every possible way, same goes with R18 with it's 820hp,...simply LMP1 HYB would dominate every other Gr.1 car...

I'm talking about when they're all fully upgraded :) because while the other Gr. 1s can be upgraded, the Porsche, Toyota, and Audi can't be upgraded (although can be made slightly lighter)
The Chiron pumps out 900-950hp fully upgraded

I only wish we get real LMP, GT3 and GT4 grouping, and all those imaginary ones left in Gr...

Nice idea :)
You can have classes that can be merged (GT3 and Gr. 3, GT4 and Gr. 4, LMP1, LMP1-H, and Gr. 1)
I don't think it'll find a purpose on the dailies, but it is a great option in lobbies :D

And no, upgrading the power certainly doesn't give full hybrid power for every lap. My Toyota is upgraded to the maximum and in normal driving the charge usually varies between 0% and 40%.

It certainly helps.
What does the power upgrade do then if it doesn't keep battery higher for longer because it doesn't add bhp?
