I've noticed that there's some differences between Japanese, Pal, & NTSC versions of GT2 such as car dealerships, race menus, & etc. Can anyone post pictures of car dealerships from the Pal & NTSC-J versions of Gran Turismo 2? I want to see what other differences are between the games.
 
Well, the PAL version has a language select screen, the NTSC and NTSC-J versions don't. The PAL version has Opel and Vauxhall cars, depending on which language you choose. The Vauxhalls are hidden on the NTSC/J versions. The PAL (I think?) and NTSC-J versions have the Honda versions of the Integra and NSX and racing bodies for all of them, the NTSC version has them as them as Acuras, with no NSX Type R like the other regions. Only some of the NTSC models of the Integra and NSX can be racing bodied without codes, the others you need a GameShark. There are other differences, like localized names of different cars.
 
- PAL versions have KMH speed readouts, NTSC versions have MPH
- Both versions have different soundtracks

Yeah, I know about the honda dealership differences between the GT2 variants, I do want to see what the pal Honda dealership looks like. I can try gameshark, but I always had bad luck with entering my own codes though.
 
Anyone have screenshots of the pal and japanese car dealerships or a video?
I do already know some differences such as the fact the pal users have both vauxhall and opel while us NTSC users don't. There's honda integras in the other 2 versions while the NTSC version get's the acura integra. I know and have the pal & NTSC-J GT2 soundtracks.
 
There's also some really minor changes such as different fonts and wording on some menu items. For example, in the garage, the "Get In" button which changes your car is rendered as "CHANGE". There are loads and loads of little things like that.
 
Aren't there 2 NTSC versions? I think, there are NTSC-U/C and NTSC-J, NTSC-U/C has MPH while NTSC-J has KMH - I think. I can't confirm this, this is just my guess.
 
NTSC U/C is the North American version, NTSC-J is the Japanese version. The units used as you said are correct.
 
I kind of wish that I had a pal ps1 and a pal copy of GT2, so I could at least take a look at the pal honda dealership.

Thank you Xenn! My curiosity is now satisfied. The honda dealership to me was one of the biggest differences between the NTSC GT2 and the other versions of GT2. I guess the older NSXs that were in the Acura dealership in GT2 are in the used car lot in the Honda dealership in that version.
Another thing I realized, the pal version has the Accord Wagon picture actually correct. The NTSC version has a picture of the '96 accord wagon instead of the '98 accord wagon sir.
