is that a trick question.
the second they come out people are going to buy them and sell them on ebay for an arm and a leg like they did with the PS2.
when PS2 came out i looked on ebay and someone sold one for $2500.00 (US)

I think that there won't be any problems getting a copy. If I remember it right that was no problem with either gt2 or gt3, or?

Saying that I did have a bit of trouble getting a copy of GT2..but even then it was only a couple of days to wait before they got more in

Del - don't forget that Play is free P&P and Amazon isn't. Amazon still work out at roughly £1 cheaper though, but frankly I trust Play more. I've contacted them about the price difference as well...

Worst service I had from Play was ordering a DVD that came out on November 13th (as a Christmas present) and it arrived on the 22nd December...! That was also a preorder.

But, like you, I've preordered mine from Play.com

BTW can I add you to the GT3 UK Map? I need an approximate location (less approximate than "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" ). You can see the current (out of date by a month) map here - and there's hopefully an iLink meeting coming in August.

gta is the most known game for ps2 so thats gonna sell out for about 2 weeks of loads of games... gt3 is the best racing game but most people like their stupid rpg or those type things
so if it sells out the day wait til next week... it should be clear then...

On DoZeR's point, I wandered into GAME the day after GTAVC's release and their shelves were packed with copies of the game. Supply should outstrip demand. Hopefully.

i walked in a software store on the day to get GTAVC and they had 25 copies for non pre order customers

After GTA3 I think everyone made sure there was plently of GTAVC in stock. I nearly missed out here - I was on holidays when it came out.

As Dozer said, really I think there are going to be more poeple for GTAVC then GT4. For those of us who live in or near big towns/city's, I think we will have no problems picking up a copy. For those who don't, i think will find it harder to find a copy.

I had only preordered one game and it went bad. It was MGS2 at Toys R Us and they didn't have a single copy available when I got there, so I am hesitant to do it for GT4.

How well do Circuit City or Best Buy internet preorders go. Do they show up on the day of the game or movie release?

i dont pre order because i like to keep my options open

some places get it before others and some are cheaper

ive never had aproblem with availability
if you live in the country then a would recommend pre order

man here in dallas texas( in the states) its a little different.
when gtavc came out it was sold out for more then a month.
hell, probaly 4 out of 5 families in my town have a copy of it.

Dont be too sure. GT has a HUG (understatement) fanbase and there are lots of racing fanatics everywhere...

I suppose, but I'd imagine it's not quite as big as GTA in general might have. Plus people who aren't a fan of it still get it. But yea there will be quite a rush I'd imagine for GT4 when it comes out.
