Gran Turismo 4 -Limited Edition Launch Kit

Hi Guys,

Many apologies if this has been discussed countless times on this forum, but I did quite an extensive search and couldn't find any information. So please, if this is a discussion which you do not wish to have, kindly let me know. But I would appreciate any assistance.

Working in the marketing department of an auto manufacturer who licensed our vehicles to Sony, I received a gift from them for my assistance in developing the licensing arrangement. Please see attached image.

The contents are:

1. Gran Turismo 4 Coffee Table book - which is quite beautifully made, I must say.
2. Press Disc and Test Drive CDs
3. Passport wallet
4. 2005 Racing Calander.
5. Nike Gran Turismo branded Jacket.

There is a plaque on the packaging that has the individual number (below 200) of the 4000 packs that were created.

I'm trying to ascertain the value of this item. Has anyone heard of such a thing?

Based on what I can see in the photo, I'd guess something like.... $200-$250USD depending on the material/quality/appearance of the jacket. :odd: I'm a little unclear on the content of mentioned CD's though - I'm assuming something like 'the making of the game' and media coverage, etc. Perhaps I'm way off.

...admittedly, that's is merely a guess, and may be a bit of a conservative side given the rarity and exclusivity of the package. If you found the right person, you might get more (I'm assuming you're asking this because you want to sell it). It'd definitely be a must have item for collectors of GT series memorabilia.
 
I believe he works for a manufacturer - in the marketing department - whose car(s) merited inclusion in GT4, and was sent it by PD/SCEE.

My two were both bought on eBay - £70 between them - a while ago now, from members of the press. One of them is #555... :D

New to the site, great so far, i bought my Driving the Game book on the british amazon.com site it came as a bundle with the piggyback interactive gt4 guide, excellent the both of em:)
 
It would be cool to have, but I cant see forking over that kinda cash for it.
Id never wear the jacket. Wasnt there a promo that had shoes?...nikes I believe...that might have been a bit better.

The Nike edition had the game, some Nike trainers, a t-shirt with a funky pattern on (which you could use in conjunction with the EyeToy and GT4 to get a free Nike One in the game) and an attractive metal carry case.
