Gran Turismo 4

Has anyone heard of GT4 referred to as Gran Turismo Network?

I heard nothing of GT4. But I have heard of plans of making an online Gran Turismo game. the harddrive will be used for downloading new cars and data. And it will finally be possible to race against other people.

Yes, it will definitely feature online play.  I'm just wondering about the name...

Polyphony started on GT4 while making GT3. They r trying 2 amke it so its online-using the usb from ps2

Yes, I've also heard GT3 does not fully utilize the PS2's graphics capabilities.  It's hard to imaging GT4 looking too much better!  

I also have GTForums.com, which I plan to send directly to this forum's index page.  Just haven't got around to it, yet.

Kaz also said that he is not very happy with GT3 (obviously not in those words) because he did'nt have very much time to do it. And i think he also said, that they are going to completely re-design the GT4 code.

I can't remember, it was just something that i remembered reading somewhere.

Oh, OK.  I believe I have seen a picture of one of Sony's Japanese press conferences, and there's a large display with the letters GTN on it.  That's good.

I've heard nothing on the next gt game, I hear things late, I rely on my Gamepro and PSM mags to tell me the latest news.

Actually I have cut off my subscription to both mags. because I can just read them online.

That's anextra $50 a year in my pocket (not much but I can buy 50 60 minute phone calls by using 10-10-811 with that money. )

Yeah, me either.  I usually instant message my friends instead of calling them.

I was never much of  computer person either, that is until gtplanet was made, now I'm on here 2 or 3 times a day. Gives me something to do on my summer vacation.

Yeah, it's a lot different when you have your own website.    I feel like I'm on here 24/7.  If I'm on the computer, I'm either finding ways to get the word out about GTPlanet, or looking for ways to make it better.

I wish I could do that, work all the time and don't even have to move from the couch. I love it
