Gran Turismo 5 Box-Cover Competition- Open until June 15

I think for proper poll to determine the ultimate Case cover, the criteria by which the cases are reviewed/ judged needs to be taken into consideration.
So I have put together my categories that I will be determining my vote on:
#1: Is it realistic in the sense that it is something you could expect to see from PD. (The case has the PD logo, Sony and rating logo's.)
#2: Is it original and creative. Or is it 2-minute photoshop cut out and paste job.

These just some idea's I think that should be taken into account when decided which case takes the cake so to speak.;)👍
Do you think I have left something out? If yes then post please.

@rusty: nice job mate! i think the furai is perfect for the cover because
it has a real fresh and unique design. god i love this car. :D
hope to see you soon on track...sadly it's not going to happen since my ps3
died last week :( and no warranty left :( :(

Sorry to hear about your Playstation, you might still be able to get your data off the Hardrive though.

Hey mate, Thanks!! The GT logo i made myself using the logo from the Prologue Cover, i made it a touch brighter and added colour. The Citroen came from a wallpaper of the Citroen GT. I got the wallpaper from www.netcarshow.com
 
This proves that a lot of people here at the forum are really creative and able to do this work. It would be good if it gives ideas to PD, so they don't have to waste any time on the design of a cover.
 
Just joined these forums after lurking a bit, so I guess I'll submit mine. I couldn't find a ESRB rating that looked good at the resolution my cover was at, and I figured that wasn't really the point, so I'll post it anyway.

I really like the background and "the new standard" but the car is not "super" enough. Needs to be something special...

I think it adds a sense of speed to the cover.👍 But I would have to agree with Paskowitz again in saying that the Car all be it nice, is not quite 'fitting' of a GT5 cover. You have put the GT logo, Polyphony Digital logo and the number '5' from the GT5 is the right font type, thats all good work. However you are missing the Sony Logo...it really is annoying to cut out isnt it.:rolleyes: If youv'e seen my Cover I decided to use a white background for that part of the image, so i didn't have to cut it out...I know its cheating but eh it worked lol:D:tup:
I do like 'The new standard' wordes at the top!:D Thats cool, I think we can all agree that GT is a standards setter.

the title will be: GRAN TURISMO The real driving simulator an nothing more..

as far as the "sony" logo not being there who said it has to...? it wasnt on the japanese cover for GT5:P it only went on the US Cover and on the US cover there is no Polyphony Digital Logo.

as for the car....dont see why it has to be something super. the gt2 cover had no car, the gt3 cover had no super car. even the japanese all red cover didnt have a super car just a porsches headlight. only w/ the american gt4 cover did we get a "super" car on the cover.

so long as the cover emits a sense of speed and the thrill of driving i think its more than adequate at portraying the overall message that GT has been about. and besides since when has GT been all about "super" cars..? i really only enjoy the lower class cars and making them fast as opposed to just buying some supercar and not having any real fun when you beat the opposition.
 
The one with gray background is better.
