Gran Turismo 5... Can/ will it be salvaged?

There should be stickied threads named, "List of Bugs" and "Suggestions/Ideas". If we make it easy for Kaz to find the info to improve GT5, maybe he'll do something about it.

This will also lessen the amount of negative/whining threads that keep showing up in the GT5 forums that I don't want to see anymore.

There's nothing to salvage. A few items to be fixed and preferably some improvements, but it's hardly a write-off. I feel sorry for you guys, you got butthurt while I got one of the best games I've ever played in my 20 years clutching a controller. Happy times.
 
What? Salvage? Lol plain and simple you need to learn to play and enjoy the game EVERY OG that I know is loving the **** out of this game... other features would be cool but if you aren't pleased you are playing the wrong game son
 
It can be fixed for me, simply by adding credits for online races. I refuse to do races over and over again for credits (especially since racing the terrible AI is so boring), so I'm pretty much stuck at level 22. Until they add the ability to gain credits for online races, i'll be back in rFactorland.

No solutions? That's the problem. The solutions are so blindingly obvious, that us "bitches" can't fathom why they aren't in the game.

Your "solution" reminds me that being on the "whining" side of this argument, isn't really that bad
 
I think many if the issues that need attention will be fixed in the coming months through updates. Most likely, the problems that are easiest to fix will get addressed first.

I'm curious, all these people who say "return it" do you live around stores that take open games back?

Because if not I would say anyone who gives this advice needs to put their money where their mouth is and pay the difference the person returning it will get hit with when selling it back at used game prices.

If that's your idea of a solution, you need to be ready to pony up to make it reasonable.

Defend how crap the game is?

The game isn't crap. Let me make this clear, I think it is a good game. 5+ years good, not a chance.

The reason I "defend the crap" that is Gran Turismo 5 is because it is so close to being a great game. Talking about the negative issues is part of life. So when it comes to talking about a GAMES bad points, it amuses me that peoples get so up in arms. God help us if anyone ever discusses religion or politics on here.

If everyone gave the game 10/10 (even though it didnt deserve it) and no one complained, would the problems get fixed? Hence why I do it.
