I would totally pay for more tracks... bring it Road ATL!!!

more cars... ah, yes please.... more premiums.... thank you sir may I have another...

Car packs and map track packs: think cross promotional... one example comes to mind, Lowes Motor Speedway with a #48 Jimmie Johnson car available by voucher with any instore $10 purchase... just an idea... this opens the doors to tons of cross promotional product placement in what is surely to become one of the highest grossing franchise/games out there...knock knock... is sounds like money to me

Think about the cross promotion to Real world products: I would totally drop say $20 on Little Debbies just to get a #47 JTG Daugherty Racing car... and I'm not a NASCAR fan at ALL... but I am a GT fan.

Listen up, guys. You're freaking me out so Xenu only knows what you're doing to Kai. You're coming across like "Oh my god! A girl! Let's maul her!" Any more talk like this will be dealt with infraction style.

Kai, please forgive the little boys and rest assured that not everyone here is as childish as some of these guys seem to be. Welcome and enjoy your stay. :)

I don't scare easy. I have actually been apart of the forums for a long time. This is just the first time I have made a account. The guys are fine I don't scare easily. I love GT way to much to be scared off buy immaturity.

I love the forum and thanks for looking out.

In the first picture, are you wearing driving gloves and underwear?!
Best racing uniform EVER!
Take a picture from your left side so we can see if there is a ring on that hand. :sly:

They were actually running shorts. lol
No ring. Most guys hate how much I play GT. My facebook followers have been killing me ever since GT came out.

Kai....

Well, I am sure there will be DLC; here's hoping it's more classics. I like new cars just fine, but at the end of the day, give me a DB4.

Just won a car for winning the same race 100 times. A old Celica. I am b-specing right now will update car info soon!

Kai....

I think a lot of the later model stuff will be added real soon! I want the new
Z4 M 2011

Z4 M 2011? doesn't exist unless you are talking about the the M package? BMW has no plans to make a M version of the new Z4 right now, last one was 2008 model year (I know I owned one), I wish they would make one, but considering the latest Z4 fully loaded is already over $70K it wouldn't make much sense, who would buy that over a M3? In the past they were always around the same price or a few grand less than the M3.

More cars please.

yeah not sure if I would want standard cars converted to premium or new premium cars! I would love my old 3000GT to be in premium form and some older M3s, but don't care about too much else. New cars would be nice too and I would pay. I don't do much online racing so I don't really care about tracks unless they also added events in GT mode. an Event/track/car pack for $1.99 would be nice!

They could easily sell 1 million of those, $2 million easy cash, how much would it really cost to make that?

Also as far as porsche goes, those of you thinking they cheaped out and wouldn't pay porsche, this is not the case, car companies WANT their cars in games and don't ask for much, its EA that owns the license (not sure why Porsche did that unless EA paid them A LOT) so if you want porsche PD would have to pay EA for it, there is the problem!

More track, more cars, more aftermarket wheel options, and more events....and proper G25 support....

Ea didnt wanna give them the license.....

Ea didnt wanna give them the license.....

Probably because EA knows that it will fall completely off the face of the earth with NFS if they allow Porsche to entertain another deal.

EA is anal about sharing licenses and as seen in the past (Madden, NASCAR), they usually buy everything up to make sure they don't have competition.

Ferrari walked to PD and it killed them because Ferrari isn't in the new NFS games and may not be in another NFS game for good.

I cannot understand you. Most of you said they are prepared to pay for DlC's for a game which is not even 3 weeks old? Why should i pay for something extra if this was already done before the game was lounched? They should have packed it into it straight away.

That's like going to McDonald's and they ask you 10 seconds after you bought a coke if you want some ice for another buck. Absolutely no one would take that.
So why are all of you prepared to pay for something which should already be included in the game when it was lounched? That was the same with H.A.W.X 1. At the day of the release they offered you a DLC for 12€ for 5 more planes.

That's launched.

I'm of two minds about DLC. One is that it's useless. Another is that it's bloody brilliant.

Thanks to DLC, I have access to a whole bunch of free or discounted games online (obviously not GT5... because GT5 is hardly free) to try out and see if I like them. Then, if I do, I have the choice of whether I like them enough to pay more for additional content or whether it's not worth my time.

For games like GT5 and Forza (which has a ton of DLC, already), it gives you a nice, finished game upfront... with the opportunity to buy additional bonus content for the game just when you're starting to get bored with what's already there.

It's like going to McDonald's and buying a Burger. Once you're halfway done, you realize you should have ordered the Meal bundle with the drink. Instead of going back and paying full price, you get an instant upgrade to Burger, Fries and Drink. Then once you're almost done, you realize you have room for dessert. Instead of paying full price for dessert, you get an upgrade to the Super-Value Burger-Fries-Drink-Dessert bundle, with a free toy. :D

I'm not paying to paying to add crap to a game that should have been there in the first place, the game shipped incomplete.

Gaming consumers are so screwed if the general consensus around here is that you guys are ready to dish out dough for content for an unfinished game. I won't be caught dead giving PD another dime ever again unless they finish the game they already sold to me.

Also, obvious "look at me I play games and I'm a chic, aren't I so 'edgey'?" thread.

Bracing for the inevitable wave of white knights.

Im all for some DLC cars and tracks.

I personally would love to have either a 1999 Nissan Maxima SE-L or a 2003 Maxima in the game. Both cars were pretty quick sedans for their day.

Stick to the topic. If you want to complain about women posting threads explaining that they are women and not boys, then make a new thread about it.

One could say it is never finished just an ongoing evolution. So I got exactly what I paid for knowing that more will be forthcoming. Something to look forward to. It was 100$. I got it the day it was released, have averaged 3 to 4 hours a day play time, I can't say I got a bad deal. I look forward to going home and playing. I look forward to the weekends. Where else can I find so much enjoyment for 100$? I take my fiancé out for dinner and a movie and it's 100$ or more and it's all over within 3 hours.

bring back the brake upgrade feature. I am willing to PAy for it.

and more events. MORE EVENTS.

DLC's would be nice, especially with more premiums. But paying for them? Erm, not sure if I want to shed more money after already spending $60 bucks for a slightly..unfinished game.

Yea they won’t put everything into the first release. I’m sure they will want to milk us again more and release DLCs …and I sure will get them when they do.

More Group C Prototypes and More Group B Rally cars and convert some standards is all I ask really

Edit: More tuning options too like BRAKES :O, And boring out cylinders and old skool tuning for older cars

PD seems to have done a decent of of giving us a little bit of everything when it comes to cars. A couple more well-chosen cars from the different categories would be good. Kaz had mentioned us being able to have our own 'What if?' races. Including an extra car or two from different categories or racing disciplines, especially an existing car's competition, can really help to flesh out the game.

One example:
We've had the excellent MB 190E 2.5 Evo II since GT4. Where is its DTM arch-rival, the BMW E30 M3? We've basically got the modern day equivalents in the form of the E92 M3 and C63 AMG battling it out, so why not let us go old-school too?
