The answer is probably the same as the last 100 times you've speculated on the release date in this thread: when it's ready.

If there's a big announcement to be made, the creator will probably announce it themselves rather than needing to be interrogated.
I agree 100% with you. Maybe the ignore button too?

When the Gran Turismo 5 Evolution Mod will release i wonder?
I wouldn't want my 1st post in any thread to have to be a mini PSA but anything like this, especially when it's to an extent excessive is pretty tiring to have to see

This also applies to every thread relating to the PS3 GT mods that you're posting in. Haven't you heard of a common sense principle called 'patience'? People who have patience shows that they're respecting of the creator working on these mods behind-the-scenes, and doesn't ask them constantly when the mods will be finished or to put in unnecessary demands that doesn't fit everyone's ambitions. It's about time you start taking this into consideration and stop your habit of constantly asking these questions

If I may add onto this, any sensible person would know as well that specific mods such as these don't need to be treated like they should be the only things that matters to them. There's other things you can do, such as play other games, do other activities, etc. Anything to keep your mind off of something, or to broaden out your interests in life. There's more to life than just endlessly focus on 1 thing you're attached to

I'm sorry if I wasn't the best at describing the points I'm making. I just need to bring out the important message that you shouldn't be endlessly asking constant questions such as 'when is the release date for this mod or game?' or 'can you add this thing that only I want?' bc it only infuriates the modders/developers who mind you, are doing this in their free time. When they have something to announce, they will announce it so please have patience

And also as I stated earlier, do other things in your life to pass the time. Really, there's a lot more to life than just one mod or game. More games, activities, hobbies, etc. literally anything else you can do rather than obsess over 1 specific thing

Hopefully this mini PSA can teach those individuals to just be patient and focus on other things to pass the time. I also hope this'll be the only time I do something like this, as any further posts I'll comment on will hopefully be more supportive in terms of what future features any modder has to share whenever they feel like it. Thank you for reading, and I hope everyone has a good day/night

it's only really a maximum 6.5 month wait.
Where does 6.5 months come from? A release window for the mod hasn't been provided yet AFAIK. It isn't coming out faster if people start trying to pressure the guy into releasing it or confirming a release window. If anything, it's more likely to have the opposite effect and they'll can the mod.

Not saying that will happen, but just relax about the release date. It's a mod being made in someone's spare time. It's not a paid game release, there's no publisher involved or shareholders. When it's coming out, we'll know. But please stop creating made up release dates/windows and asking when it'll be out.

i'm just going by the 2026 release date that was given to us in message #61, so i'm assuming the worst case scenario and counting down to december 31st! unless there are other plans that i'm not aware of :))

Just bear in mind, target release windows aren't a guarentee for larger teams let alone one man projects like this. Life can and often does slow things down in unexpected ways. If it comes out this year, great, if not, it will come out when it's ready.

Hi Erik,

Did you have any trouble with progression being counted e.g. first place trophy showing in the event screen? Master Mod removed the restored cut content due to progression issues. I myself am attempting to add some custom events to hold me over for Evolution mod and getting strange results sometimes I can progress sometimes I can't. Wondering if you encountered and fixed this with Evolution.

If I can be of any assistance let me know I am pretty familiar with SpecDB and event .xml I could make tuned cars for your events (if seeking a hand would be worthwhile if you can provide events you are happy with the difficult of and I can adjust troublesome events in line with those).

Hello! The problem with event results not counting is easily fixable by deleting the file called system.db, located in the db folder of the game data, and starting a new save. You can also force the game to create a new system.db file through Adhoc scripts, and though it requires more work to set up, it's the path I'll take for GT5 Evolution, as the user doesn't have to manually delete the file.

Thanks for being willing to help! I do not need help with events, I've already made them all and I'll conduct all the testing myself. The only two things I currently need help with are with graphics design (designing custom background images for events), and writing custom Adhoc code.

Ciao!

Ottieni aiuto dall'intelligenza artificiale!

I meant help with programming and data editing. These days I'm trying to modify races in GT5 Master Mod, but without the help of the AI I would never have succeeded.

For programming, I'm sure I wouldn't be able to "vibe code" my way through Adhoc, even that requires some knowledge on how to talk to the AI and knowledge of the code you're working on.

As for data editing, I find it pretty easy, just time consuming, but I'm not worried about how long it'll take.
