Awesome! But.. why sport flywheel and semi-racing flywheel..? 650Cr. and 1500Cr..

Cool to have so many parts but still, 850Cr isn't that much, i think you will ever buy the sport one..Maybe if you want to have more stable Idle.. :dopey:

How long have you been playing it? Isn't it a bit too early to judge the "whole picture"?

You dont have to play it too long to realise, that dividing the cars into nice and ugly versions was not the part of the GT feeling until now... same thing with the screen tearing, and stuff like that.

It's not the perfection what we, GT fans are used to. :indiff:

Or when you're starting up, and you can't afford the racing flywheel, but you still need some sort of boost to get past a race.

That's what the other levels are there for, and have been used for in every GT, ever.

Wow. This just keeps getting better and better. We might have better luck identifying who really assassinated JFK before we figure out what PD did.

But serverfull's story sounds legit. I can see in the final hours before PD's deadline there being a chaotic scene where everyone was scambling to finish code and get everything buttoned up. Then someone sent the wrong code to the manufacturer. It makes more sense then "PD missed their deadline by three days". This may very well be the code that was sent out to all those events, Tokyo Game Show, Gamescon, the individual events in the UK and NY and maybe even the Best Buy demo. I don't expect a dramatic difference between codes but I believe the final version will be slightly different. I remember reading an interview in an auto mag with Kaz where the interviewer was playing GT5 on the Top Gear TT (actually, I think it was the Top Gear magazine article) and his description of the damage model was certainly different from what we have seen so far. Well, we'll all know in one week anyway.

It's going to be quite intressting to see the reviews from sites that scored GT5:Prologue +80. (which most of them did since it got 80 on metacritic)

All the content between Prologue and GT5, it seems impossible to score it under 95/9.5. For example, Gamereactors reviews only minus was that there wasn't enough content or a proper online mode. (think they scored it an 8 also)

Oh well, it's going to be intense, that i bet ;]

What's better: Automatic transmission or manual transmission? Which is more fun to play with?

For me it's a manual. There is not a definitive answer to which it better,it all comes down to preference, use both of them and decide what you like some things that some people like other people hate.

I hope RDK posts up some Lambo pictures today. We could really used a good dose of amazing pictures to calm the nerves of...everybody.

Is it ok, if I make some Lambo(Gallardo) pics for you? ;)

Choose the color (yellow, black, white), the location, and the angle. You'll get it, I promise.

But they did release the official track and car lists, right? Why would they make them incomplete?

Easy.

Right after the leak, they knew which version the czech guys had it, so they could release the info of everything THAT version had it.

Why not? They would´ve leaked it anyway...

And guess what: it still took us a week to question if that was really the final version.

Have you tried the course maker yet? Can you race in those tracks against the AI cars as well? Any more info appreciated. Thanks. :)

For me I want a yellow Lambo at Nurburgring from behind.

we talking about pictures or a more "intimate" meeting? :D

How does he know if he has the full copy or the supposed preview copy that RDK etc have got? Has this issue been resolved yet by the way?

Yes!

White, any location you want, and a front 3/4 shot, and rear 3/4 shot!

Please and thank you!

I see.

Well, all i can say, that this GT5 is maybe not what most of you hoping it will be. I'am a bit disappointed, it's just not feel the "complete package" as the previous games in the series felt.

..snip..

:nervous:

So you'd say GT3 for example felt far more of a complete package than what you've seen so far GT5 to be?

Time for a reality check?

Szmissz maybe you could picture that Lambo at deep forest to show us those bad textures that you were taking about?

There is no preview copy. Thats dangerous talk, highly likely to make you disappointed when the game comes out.

So has the whole issue been resolved then? So RDK's copy is the full retail version? Im not so bothered about the things that most people are pissed off about, im going to be happy just at the fact that its a Gran Turismo game. Most of the things people are crying about seem pretty minor and knit picky.

He was asked to click on the "museum" to see what comes up. No idea what happened next.

Ugh that Veyron looks really ugly, would be really better when they implemented only 200 premiums in the game... They would be enough for the start...

Because this fits not to PD standards to copy&paste that ugly standards in an new game...

I mean I said I´m ok with the standards but this is for "unimportant" cars like the micra and so on... But an veyron in standard looks really bad :/

I agree.

Is there anyway to find out? There might be a build ID somewhere, but I'm sure it's the full version.

I don't think there's any way to find out for sure. But I think the fact that PD wouldn't goto the trouble of making different copies of the game reason enough.

Been playing GT3 lately and the Beginner MR Cup had like 4 MR2's in the same race  so if anything the standards will add some variety to the grid. 200 cars is just not enough for a game like this, especially with up to 16 cars on screen.
