I agree. If you want to be surprised, then why the on earth would you be in a thread titled "GT5 full game footage/images"?
In fact, why would you come around here at all 1 week from release.

Aye. It's akin to visiting a strip club and being offended that there are women exposing their naughty bits.

Any word yet whether you can race against the AI on created tracks?

As far as I know RDK just mentioned he haven't tried yet...If you can't then track creator immediately becomes useless IMO

I don't see why you couldn't, but even if you can't i'm sure you can do split/screen and online, which other than GT mode is where all my time will be spent

Wow looks soooooo amazing. This might be my first sports saloon I will try to buy in GT5.

Is it me or it looks more detail over M3 car?

Damn the benz looks amazing GT always gets me into different cars, Its going to be a great experience.

Why does the outer tire make skid marks here? Shouldnt there be more weight -> traction on the outer side while cornering, making the inner tire lose traction easier?

A spinning wheel doesn't always produce smoke, a spinning wheel under load would do though, also it depends on the differential in some cars I guess though I don't think that is the case with the Merc here.

you answered your own question...... since theres more weight and on the outer tires it creates more friction and he is obviously sliding (under-steering) so that would make the outer tires smoke not the inner tires...

he is oversteering but i agree with your theory

typically the outer wheel is under load more than the inner wheel due to weight distribution shifting to that wheel however if the car has enough power to take the wheels beyond grip then it will spin up no matter the weight on it. obviously the merc has alot of torque and therefore is able to spin. maybe the rear left is off the floor or hardly touching?

I'm no physics expert, but if you look at the image the front wheels seem to indicate counter-steering. So that implies the weight on the rear end is pushing heavily towards the outside. Which is pretty much what you said and I don't know why I posted this.

You might be right. Tho im still suspicious. :) Not that this has any effect on me liking GT5 less but i just started thinking this.

For the left tire to be able to go in the air would demand very good traction on the right (outer) side. Which in this case right side has lost and would make the left side drop and..

Okay maybe its time to drop this since its kinda off topic. I love GT series anyways and have preordered this one too. :)

You see what skidmarks add to the game?? I remember that somebody asked Kaz why there are still no skidmarks and reverse lights and he answered that they concentrate on important things in the game...

It would be a shame if GT5 would have no skidmarks, thank god, PD implement them...

I own a C63 (in real life) without the rear LSD option and it's one hell of a car. Youtube it to hear the craziness that is the stock exhaust! Not to mention it is very, very fast. Sorry, I digress, without the LSD option it uses the latest generation of traction control to simulate a rear diff and does quite a good job at it to, though there are times I can leave double solid black lines of rubber and times only one line. It's very manageable (in the dry...with ESP on) though I'd tick the LSD option if you plan on taking it to the track.
