Sony EU's twitter account just tweeted that they have some big announcements to make next week regarding Gran Turismo 5 and will get you really excited

An announcement is something that has not been disclosed yet. We already know the release date and everything else thus far, so it is "new" news that they will announce.

Kaz and Co. constantly visit this forum to see what we say about GT5 and when the game launches, they WILL announce new info, not only to silence storm regarding the negative aspects of the game i.e. 800 standard cars, No Wheel Changes for Standard Cars, etc.., but also to excite GT5 users and assure us that GT5 will constantly be updated with new and exciting content.

If there is no such announcement, I will personally film myself jumping off of a 30 foot dam into a canal while singing a Justin Bieber song.

My guess its something most of us already know or strongly suspect and is only big news to the average joe who hasn't paid much attention until lately.
 
I am buying the signature edition so any future DLC I would expect to be free to those who spent $300 on a game. Call it a thankyou.

No way Kaz and Co. are going to slave every week turning one standard into premium and then give it to us for free. No way. The only thing free this day and age is the brown stuff that comes out of a dark hole....and we have already played the Forza series..so... :lol::lol::lol::lol:
 
Here's another one to annoy the perfectionists:

In its defense... that is behind the car so won't be noticeable while driving unless you happen to be looking back. Though I have noticed some landscape pop-in while facing forward on other videos.

Am I missing some thing? There is a dip in the road...which is why the guard rail looks bent. Just an optical illusion from the angle.

That's it, I'm cancelling my Signature Edition! No way can I play a game that has dissapearing shadows!
 
Yeah if I'm honest I have seen lots of graphical glitches, more so than any PS2/PS3 game. I think the quality is amazing, but it's just not stable enough.

Glitches like this are fine by me, so long as there aren't bugs in gameplay like F1 2010.



And incase anybody needs a bit of hope for release, the feature that PD spent the most time on and Kaz is most proud of is yet to be seen. Online should be amazing.

but what the hell were they thinking when they decide to remove rims changing in standard cars....
 
The tyres don't look so realistic like the rest, maybe slick tyres?

The way the wiper seems to split in half near the top occasionally.

By the way guys I asked earlier... did none of you US folk get to view the HD Playscope videos on YouTube? Someone said they were blocked. I'm uploading one to Megavideo right now so if you haven't seen it maybe this will let you.

Since I made the SLS video, I can tell you during the game you don't even notice the pixelated wipers.... You're focused on both trying to see through water and concentrating on working the car round the track....
TBH I just noticed the pixelated wipers from seeing still pictures out of my video xD

and play on it by your self...... because i know me and my friends never buy maps/tracks for games its so stupid. I bought maps for a game before and hardly no one played on them total waste of money.

Agreed. It's really stupid because all the "glitches" shown probably won't be noticeable while racing. That, and I'm sure PD will release several updates that will rid us of the glitches...probably not the slow down at the beginning of races, but for sure the glitches.


EDIT: Upon further examination of the photos, ALL the shadows along that wall are different hinting at something else besides disappearing shadows.
