Im disappointed with car list too. actualy i was looking for more BMWs: M6, X6M and the new Z4. and the cadi CTS-v isn't there! omg what were they thinking?? Forza3 has all these cars+ tons of new cars. And still being updated every one to two months. Hope there will be DLC for GT5 :nervous:

Forza gets an update every few months? With more cars?

PD needs to get on that.
 
Forza has gotten regular DLC packs for about 5-6 months, then it stopped and Turn 10 chose to rip off the people who bought them all by releasing their Ultimate Edition 👎

Yes, especially when you notice that all cars in the dealership video are premium. That means we haven't even got a glimpse at the standard cars available, not that we don't know what they are.

Cause I guess these people are more concerned with themselves having fun to spite the world rather then enjoying the game themselves while helping out the world.

We're too busy Oogling over the same damn modern super cars that we know are in the game anyway and not just slowing things down a tiny bit to have a sense of presentation. Rather then stare at a lambo for 3 mins maybe we could shuffle through a few more Manfacturers or hit up a different menu.

It's just frustrating. Same as most other people here are feeling.

You obviously didnt get what I was trying to say. I was just answering why the used car lot video was'nt shown by saying videos of other parts werent shown. I wasnt asking why those other parts werent shown yet.

So basically that premium batch couldn't exceed much more than 200... So arguably there are 800 more out there... just not showing up yet...

I'm going to assume it works the same as the previous GT games with Used Cars.. Only current models or whatever are sold through the Dealership menu.. So basicly anything older then '08 or so you'd have to go look at the Used Car list.

I.E. The 360 Modena or the Lambo Diablo. The '02 ish AMGs.. Etc.

So why hasn't there been a Used Car Dealership video yet.

I think you were too optimistic, my friend...

As of right now, the car list is a total disapointment to me, just like i figured it would be a few months ago already... I dare anyone here to tell me Forza's car lineup isn't by far superior to GT5's...... there are so much glaring omissions that listing them would take a while but just quickly:

-no new cadillac, just the same old Cien ?????
-no Continental GT , as someone noticed
-no F355,360 Modena,F50,288 GTO, Testarossa and finally no 250 GTO!
-no Porsche (no surprise I know but still beyon me in 2010)
-no Diablo, no other coutach except maybe the original in **standard**
-no Shelby GT500
-no C6R,no DBR9,no F430GT,etc

you get the point, but hey we got got the Samba bus, the schwimmwagen,etc
seriously what a joke!

GT5 is to the PS3 what GT3 was to the PS2, a good glimpse of what could be for GT6, wich, in my mind, will be the first true GT installment for the PS3.

The only aspect in wich GT *COULD* be superior to FM3 is the tracklist, but I've seen nothing overwhelming as we speak (no confirmation of Spa, Siverstone,hockenheim or any new renown track, just Cape ring, wich looks nice tough)

Just my thoughts

Quality is marginally better now.

It's his garage, at any rate. The third tab is "Favourites". It's worth another watch with the improved legibility. :)

im with u on the car list. i think gt5 will have a better gameplay experience. but as far as the cars go im a little disappointed with the cars. theres is really no modern day racecars except supergt and nascar. For me the track list is still up in the air

This is the selfish work of Kazunori Yamauchi. He designs the game the way he wants. Not like Turn 10 that has a 2 year plan with everything the users want. Kaz did not ask us if we wanted 500k polygon cars at the cost of car count.

The maker of the video only selected cars we've seen and only super cars... lame. Show me he C63 and not he SLS we've seen. Show us the Scuderia and not the Enza, WTH.. :)
