It is a shadow thing .... As the car turns into the corner the shadows move because of the cars position towards the sunlight.

The shadow behind the rear wheel moves away from it causing the sunlight to light up the tarmack exactly behind the rear wheel,making it look like its floting...

Watch the youtube vid again and pause it on an off when it goos thru that corner,you will see its just the shadow movement and not the wheel comming of the track...

So i am sorry for the one who thought he found a bug in the game...guess you have to look and search better!!!... :dopey:

I'm guessing thats what happens when you zoom all the way in on a Standard? Or it's photoshop from GT1. Either way, that looks terrible. Sure that can't be GT5?


Edit. New screens of Premiums with damage there look amazing.

like I said, I think it's a photoshop, because EVERY standard car now has 3D rims... And let's face the truth, that's not "3D"
 
Here's another one (720p native HD too) about two AI cars battling.



The shadow "glitch" is proeminent on the Nissan, but not on the other cars i saw in the game. But that's not the point of the video.

Prolly cuz its early in the game and the AI's are not that challenging yet? i dont know.. my also be a n/a 226hp 3000GT/GTO

WHY can't GT or for that matter most games, ever get the sound of a subaru boxer right.
