I hope there is split screen. Myself and my brother always play split screen and i will be disapointed if it isnt in GT5. Ill come on here joining the epic whingers if there is no split screen lol J/K
 
Has the stig been taken out. I've been telling my boy he can race the stig.

From what we've seen (if you believe this is indeed the final disc) the dealer icons go straight into the showroom since the Tuning shop has become a one stop shop...Which is more convenient, but i miss that anal charm of buying your Nissan parts from NISMO. :)

So no sign of one-make races :( .

Not seen it first hand but the Arcade menu suggests there is a 2 player mode, it's the 4th icon along.

The Stig might still be in, nobody is sure. The Top Gear event screen has changed since they released a screenshot, but one of those missions might be Stig based, perhaps.

:lol: Stig is in, at least from the TGS trailer he's clearly in, and I see no point on taking him out.

I think we haven't seen the best side of the game yet. Kaz himself and a respected magazine in a recent preview said that parts of the car can be sprayed over the road after hard crashes, which we haven't seen yet. It's either Tekken doesn't have the full game or "several damage is still to be unlocked", although it sounds pretty strange for me.
 
Do you know anything of the top gear test track mode?
Can't see what they can do without the stig.
 
Tekken can you set up a live video on justin.tv so we can watch you in career mode?

Stig was sacked by the BBC, maybe it's related to the menu change in GT5 ?
(Ben collins was the stig and since he revealed his identity, he was sacked) now there's a new stig

Well see what happened was that, he turned out to be a douchey fame whore, who couldnt stand success behind a white helmet. And now he has nothing, not even his stupid little helmet ina video game, good going sport.

@Spaghetti They have you racing in freakin Samba Buses, like some type of hippy demolition love derby. At least thats the first tier of it, theres 2 levels which he had yet to reach int he video. See first page.

I don't care about Ben Collins. I just wanted the stig.
 
Maybe the stig is an option when you create your driver.

Another thing we haven't see on the leaked copies.

I don't think the Stig is out of the game remember there not going to show his face so they can say that the Stig is anyone even if Ben Collins can't say no because he is out of the job and since The Stig belongs to the BBC and Polyphony has the copyrights from the BBC so Stig is still in the game.

I think that damage is linked to the physics level and Tekken probably isn't playing on professional physics.

That's true, but the Top Gear Test Track mode seemed a bit... bland and lacking.

Umm... Would all three of those be the same thing? I mean, who changes the retail version from the review copy? It's safe to say it's the most updated build. Maybe we'll see patches/updates in the future (I'm only guessing.) Either way, I think it's safe to say our product will pretty much be same one he has.

Driving != Bumpercars riding walls as if they were made of invincibilitium.

Has anybody here ever actually driven a real car? What kind of "driving" is it if going beyond the limits doesn't bear any consequence?

Being able to tell the limits of the car you're driving and getting as close as possible to them without ever going past the threshold is what tells good drivers apart.

tl;dr: No damage = no racing.
