They're on both sides in the picture, if that's what you're wondering. Look closely and you can see the top. The bottom is too dark and far away on the right to fully see.

Thanks Conquerer; did a little search after posting and was worried that most were turning up without the strakes, but a few others did 👍
 
I've never been one to complain about the lack of skidmarks....but holy crap I didn't really realize how much those add to the visual authenticity to the game...like GT needs anymore visual authenticity, but it makes the inputs of the car look even MORE realistic.

...And on top of that, the cars listed on the front page I nearly died. Zonda R, P4, Miura?? And this is just the start!!! Can't wait much longer for this game!
 
I'm speechless with all this great news, from skidmarks to real-time weather. Can't wait till Friday to get my hands on that demo and take a spin at Monza. :cheers:

Nice skidmarks when the Ferrari spins out. But when the car gets back on track and starts accelerating again, there's no skids. Not complaining as TC could have been turned up, but that's something we should take a note of.

TC was on, if you look at the gas being given you'll see the red above it.:rolleyes:

Cool, headlights , skid marks, damage, day night cycles. its a new gt for sure. now show us the custom options.

Has anyone upset about this releasing one day later than the US stopped and thought that maybe, just maybe, there might be more to it than Sony wants to make you mad? Maybe it is based on how certain shipping schedules work out, maybe it is based on how retailers are able/willing to release things?

I know it is being released on a Tuesday in the US because that is the day of the week that things like games and DVDs normally release in the US. It has little to do with giving the US some sort of special treatment.

i think the 2nd in us is just 15 or so hours before the 3rd in eu. that way us gets it hours before eu does. it will release less than 24hours apart. Say stores open at 9am Tues in Chicago. Thats like late afternoon London time. so in 15-18 hours will be mid morning.

Wow all that I want to see now is weather 100% confirmed for all tracks and GT5 is complete for me.

When is this Kaz interview happening guys?

gNNy mentioned there's an embargo in place, much like many car manufacturers have.
 
I am almost 100% sure that the San Galgano track is the tarmac course in the countryside that we first saw in the 458 Italia tribute video.

San Galgano is the location of the ruined abbey that we will be able to visit in Photo Travel but the actual surroundings of the area are really similar to what we saw in that video.

just came back from Cologne; I staid at the press conference until I was kicked out :) Then I met with Famine and Venari, they have safely arrived in Cologne. Tomorrow - or rather in 4 hours - I head back there for the GT special session.

The demo is more comprehensive than at E3 - and no time limit. So i got to drive for as long as I wanted. Some fun stuff in there but we're not allowed to show any footage until Thursday, 9am. Sorry!

Next stop? The Kaz-Interview (hopefully).
