Gran Turismo 5 Intro tune?

What does everybody think the intro tune for GT5 will be!

This is what I think and hope the intro will be for the PAL version:

The name of the song is Shut and Drive by Rihanna!

And the American NSTC version:
I dont have any idea what so ever!

But we all know what the Japanesse intro song will be:

We all know it will be this song since it has been like that in every NSTC-J version so far! Except it will not have the GT2 video. I just put it there for the song. What do you think!
 
I'd have to vote this for the PAL, I used it in a Forza vid I made and it fit really well plus it has a sort of GT (1) intro feel to it.

 
Noooooooooooooo Not shut up and drive!!!!!!!!! They'll probably use a tech or rock song because they prefer that thankfully, shut up and drive just wouldn't fit right with the GT5 intro, They always make it a slow start and an action movie right till the end!
 
I think they should use Led Zepplin's Immigrant Song for the American version, its got a good beat, its a classic, and the part where the lyrics go "come from the land of the ice and snow...." they could show some ice racing footage.
 
I think it'd be awesome if they could somehow incorporate La Grange by ZZ Top in the NTSC version somehow. :lol: I'd prefer a classic rock song though because it went over real well with Panama.

PD will probably stick with something "rock" based. Something like "What I've Done" by Linkin Park 👍
What ever it is, it needs a half decent tempo.

I always perfered the NTSC GT4 intro music to the PAL version for that very reason.

I am afraid they are not as well known as green day, so you will have to look on itunes or something to hear what they sound like

Polyphony will use Moon Over the Castle.
As for American Idiot, that has nothing to do with cars, and Kazunori has been smart enough not to include any crap like that.

As sad as it seems, I'd rather have the rap song than Green Emo, but that's if I had to choose.

Be nice if they returned this song from GT3 though.

They'll definitely use a new version of Moon Over the Castle, for the Japanese Version. It's kind of a Trademark.
 
I don't really have a specific pick(been trying to think of a good one but cant atm) but so long as its not rap/r&b and that its something very good like the song from GT2. That was a great song along with a great video. I loved watching that intro every time. GT3 & 4's intro music were kinda lame. The videos were ok but not great.
 
I hope they do what jim prower said, moon over the castle it is a good song, infact does anyone know a link to a stream of the song or DL of it?
 
I did'nt really think they would use Greenday, I just could'nt think of any other american rock songs at the time! To be honest, I dont know what I would use for the NSTC version!

P.S: I'm gonna delete the Greenday video!
 
Well,i don't know a whole lot of songs that could fit into the American release of GT5 but all i know that its either a rock song or a rap/hip-hop song.I really would like if Jimmy Eat World has their song as a GT intro or maybe even Snoop Dogg,who knows....

As for the European release,maybe ASH could make a return and have their intro song like they did in GT1.The Japanese release (as usual) would have the Moon Over the Castle song,but maybe a Daiki Kasho remix would be great!
 
I hope there will be no crap, I mean rap/hip hop/grime it is tottaly not GT style either they go for rock or techno music. There is significant reason they would put moon over the castle in or that song in the video of those 16 cars racing at suzuka, I think that would be a good new song.
 
I didn't know the NTSC GT4 had a different opening tune. I thought the Pal intro was amazing and hope GT5 will be in the same vein.

Has anyone got a link for the NTSC GT4 intro?
 
I loved the intros in GT1, 2 and 3, but 4 seemed to be missing something (apart from the lovely opera at the beginning :) ). For GT5 I think the song 'Club Foot - by Kasabian' would work perfectly :)

Oof...But I just found out (literally) a minute ago that they also made 'Reason is Treason' in the PAL GT4 intro. :lol: ... that just proves I have good suggestions :sly: .

Alright, then maybe a nice rock track from the band Garbage would be nice. They gave us 'As heaven is Wide' in GT1, and 'I Think I'm Paranoid' in GT2. Their other songs are also brilliant, so it'll go down very well with GT5’s intro.
