Well this has pretty much destroyed the good hacks and now has left the rocket cars as I call them, bad move kaz as I don't feel happy on gt5 anymore as almost all rooms I go in have a rocket car or 5.

Rocket cars, really? Weren't they the same cars as before when most of you were overly tuning the cars then using the power limiter? People still build there cars up and de-tune them to make them into rocket cars. Just from your reaction people have done the same but with hacked cars.

I managed to get into track change menu right after changing tire wear - press left on dpad with a speed of light :lol:, but nothing happens when I load a track that I want to have rain.

It takes practice to do. Also if you are running a SSD in your PS3, it will be damn near impossible to do.

Do I have to be on a rain track before hand or the rain options will be available if done right ? I have 500 GB 7200 rpm Seagate HDD.

No doesnt matter you just need to click on a track with weather an then click ok.. trust its not easy..

Yeah when i tried to do it at the start it was wtf y can i not do this.. #the awkward moment when your trying to show friends an it takes more than an hour lol :(

Just did it, Mt Akina - Toscana track in the rain, had to change surface water to 10% to make it work. I am in my lounge now :D Thanks guys, L2L - no need to PM me 👍

Shame that it seems for now Hybrids are dead. Never used or obtained any myself but I feel a little bit of sympathy towards those who actually tried to make a legitimate Hybrid based off a real car, rather than a 36,000hp X1, or something like that.

At least I can play online without getting destroyed by one of those now, which is the reason I haven't played GT5 in a while.

Well sometimes I fit the more powerful but more laggy turbo upgrades. Its quite a fair race even against a car with a stage 3 turbo because of the lag.

Are these parts still available?

Nope.

I just got done updating the OP with what has been confirmed so far. I will continue to put confirmed information about this update in the OP.

If it was, I am sorry for being rude. It is just annoying lately when everytime I try to help someone I get smart remarks. If that wasn't what he was doing by posting that picture I am sorry.

I'm only messing lock.. But yep this thread sure is usefully.. Saves 5mins of my life not having to search and ask what the changes are.

I really didn't mean to seem rude, I think completely the opposite way about this thread. I was calling the update useless because it basically did exactly the same thing as 2.12: it removed the 'realistic' hacks (stage 4/5 parts) but the ridiculous HP and interdimensional coloured cars are still around... it's starting to get a bit silly.
