Hi guys,

Today I bought the Anniversary edition, as my local Sony store has already received the game.

I'm a bit confused about the contents this edition contains.

When it was announced didn't the description say that the game case will be a steelbook, and Apex II will be included? My case has the full 15th anniversary design, but it's plastic, and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a book inside, it's too light. (Haven't opened it yet, before I make sure).

It does say on the back that I get 20 custom 15th anniversary cars, 1 million in game credit, and custom paint chips and race suits, which I already knew about.

Did you pre-order? If so, you should have 5 extra cars for preordering. Im in Australi and pre-orderd from EB GAMES, by the way.
 
Not a pre order, but I know of people who pre ordered from the same shop and have the exact same case. As I said, I haven't opened it yet, so I'm not sure which dlc I'll find in the box

Just found this on the GTPlanet guide

Australian buyers get a special steel book, Russian gamers get a laser-engraved metal keychain and 3 postcards featuring stills from the game while there is no news on any other physical extras for the US/Canada market.

So I think there's my answer, for GAME, a special pre-order pack is listed, so I think Europe didn't get the steelbook case
 
I just bought the anniversary edition:

it is a steelbook with a plastic sleeve around it with the text about the cars and extra stuff on it.

When the sleeve is removed you see the steelbook (same style as other steelbooks, e.g. killzone)

is this the same version as you have? I bought mine in Holland, and inside it has the game, voucher code for anniversary content and the manual.
 
Mine looks exactly the same wrapped, there is definitely another case inside the outer sleeve, or atleast it looks like it, but it doesn't seem like steel

EDIT : Looking at it more closely, I'd say it looks exactly like yours, but I reckon the inner case is plastic based on how it looks.

Anyway, I'll open it soon, I want to play it badly, and as long as I have my dlc, it's all good. I bought the ultimate collectors edition of Forza 4 and it's on my shelf, so I wouldn't take much notice of GT6s case either
