Despite following the readme correctly, and having installed Spec 2 mod and copied the pdipfs file from the GT6 Career Mod folder, I can launch the game but only Spec 2 works. I tried again with a new save file, and it's exactly the same thing. I must be the only one for whom it doesn't work.

I guess I found the issue.
You are installing the mod by overwriting the wrong PDIPFS folder.
You will need to install it in the folder named just as "PDIPFS", not in "PDIPFS_bdmark".
Sorry for not mentioning this in the readme.
Please, try again by replacing the files from the folder called just as "PDIPFS".
 
I reinstalled the career mod again and still nothing. I even checked at the dealership to see if the Gillet Vertigo's power was corrected as shown in the mode's presentation. No, it still has its normal power, so I don't think it's taking into account the installation of the GT6 Career mod at all. Specs 2 does work, but not the main one I wanted.

But which folder are you copying the my mod files to?
For "PDIPFS" or "PDIPFS_bdmark"?

I copy the pdipfs folder from the provided mod folder, and once in the usrdir folder I paste the pdipfs file; it asks me to replace identical files, which I confirm. And that confirms the file copying.
Copy for "USDIR" folder and confirm "yes" for replace files.

Unfortunately, still nothing. I deleted my save file and even started a new game just in case, but no, I downloaded version 4.6 directly from the website. Is that a problem?

Honestly, I don't know what's going on with you.
If my mod worked for others, it should work for you too.
You must be doing something wrong.
I'm sure the problem isn't with my mod.

I don't see what I would do wrong; you just need to copy the same file into your provided folder, following the exact same procedure as for installing the Specs 2 mod. This isn't the first time I've used MultiMAN to install a mod; in fact, I installed master mod in GT5 without any problems, so I don't think I'm doing the installation procedure wrong. I'll see if it works with an older version of the mod

I think I've found the problem; I must have had an issue when I copied the folder to my USB drive because I've just transferred the career mode folder back to the USB drive. Out of 6663 files, it only asked me to replace 859, so I think I must have had a problem transferring them to the USB drive. I'll try again and let you know. I transferred the mode folder from my computer to the USB drive, and now I've launched it in MultiMAN. Indeed, it's not showing as many files as in previous installations.

I noticed a small detail regarding the availableb custom player tracks When I was only using specs mode 2, there were a lot of player circuits, is it possible to retrieve the entire list of tracks included in the Specs 2 mod And to use it with the career mod?

I think its certainly possible.
 
Honestly, that would be so awesome! I've been having a blast ever since I managed to install career mod, And I think the day will go by quickly since I have nothing to do today 🤣🤣, but it would be nice to be able to recover the 80 tracks that were in specs 2

Welcome, you're in for a very long journey, no less than the one in Gran Tursimo 4)))
 
I honestly don't doubt it; with these two modes, it breathes new life into GT6.

I am currently at 161.8% overall game completion.😉

I agree with you, everything that was missing from this game is finally available and it adds a lot of variety

Yes. Don't forget the Strato Mod also as it add difficulty level to the AI to the maximum possible difficulty (hardest), as well as some of the features that also carried over to Career Expansion Mod like Classic License Tests and Power & Speed Test. The race series/events that exclusive to Strato Mod are: 60 mins of Monza, 100 Laps at Suzuka, Formula GT, 90 mins of Le Mans 1980s, Red Bull Rally Masters, and Targa Florio Road and Race Cars Championships (Career Expansion Mod also had Lamina Andaluzia 3hr race, based on the same Cars from Targa Florio Race Cars Event from Strato Mod), as well as Professional and Expert Events.

Yes, it's possible.
But that's not my idea.
My idea is remove these "for fun" tracks and also the Moon mission courses for give a more serious experience for the game.
But I'm also making new custom tracks, based in real circuits and original tracks from GT and other games.

That's perfectly understandable, and I can't imagine the work involved. If it's about custom tracks, I was mainly referring to the track that resembled the complex Regarding GT3, and a quick question because I haven't gotten that far yet, even though I admit I really pushed my PS3 yesterday 🤣🤣, concerning tire wear and fuel consumption, it's active... Is it only active from the super category onwards?

It's true that at the beginning there are a lot of power restrictions and that can discourage power enthusiasts, but I found the beginner aspect interesting because for once it gives you some space To the low-category car

imo it's good that casual players can't keep up with the strato mod ai, because if every mod catered to them, then the well-seasoned players would be bored with every race. this mod already caters well to the casuals, whilst strato is for those who are looking for more difficult, serious racing.
