I got a carbon propshaft  from the log-in ticket.

Not even a stage 5 weight reduction kit? I do like getting those, for sure.
I don't, for the simple reason that I can't keep mental track of all the parts I have in my box, so if I ever need to apply a stage 5 WR I already have, I would buy it anyway. If only it was like in GT5, where you would "apply" parts, instead of buying them and - if you didn't have it yet - it would prompt you to buy it. Or at least it was telling you with a number that you already had that part. In this way, I would make use of all the components I get

There should never have been any parts on the roulettes at all (or invites, but don't get me started...), just gift cars or money.
If people need parts they can buy them. And it's not just that they're won on the roulette, but that it's so darned often. Most regular players must have mountains of spares they'll never use by now.
I'd maybe make an exception for the engines to swap, but tbh they've overdone that too now; just so many of them it's become messy and confusing, I have loads of them sitting unused.
They must have known from the initial game design stages that giving people random driveshafts as roulette prizes would just wind them up, yet they keep it as is. I keep getting parts for safety cars; and I don't even want to own any safety cars, let alone tune them up...

Me too. The thrill of it all.
As someone else said though, the Christmas music is a cool nostalgia touch.
Except for that one song with really loud trumpet that sounds like it is having seizure... hate that song.

OT though: PD has really skewed ideas of what a gift is. Why not just make the gifts a 1m Cr. ticket each day? But suppose that be too easy and logical. PD does not like logic.

you get a part ticket, an engine ticket...which are pretty close to being nothing. Then a 100K ticket which in this game is basically pocket change. The 250K is decent on Friday but still hardly a big deal. And a 5 star ticket?? Why a 5 star?? Would it kill you to give away a 6 star ticket? lol. Out of the 5 days of Christmas "largesse" from PD we're going to be lucky to crack 1M credits total! Wow! Only another 14 hours of grinding Sardegna and I can buy ONE SINGLE 20M LCD car!

(I have all the cars already so none of this really matters to me anymore, but I only managed that by grinding Sardegna mercilessly for the first year and a bit. I just think it's too bad they didn't make an actually fun reward system for this game rather than whatever this cock-eyed mess is. Imagine if one of the tickets was a random LCD car!)
