As a current owner of a CR-V (that exact generation), I'm scratching my head a bit on this one! I use mine to commute 1.5hr to and from work, super long road trips, hauling the family and stuff around town and for running errands. At those things, this car is excellent. Other than that, it is one of the most boring car I've ever owned and that CVT trans doesn't help it either. I guess it will be interesting to see what it would look like with a widebody, a racing transmission and engine overhaul!! 🤔

Yet again there are many people who are complaining about regular traffic cars being added. Same was for the CX-30, same was for the HiAce, same was for the HiMedic. Y'all act like a game like GT4, which you hold so much higher than any other racing game, didn't have regular traffic like the Odyssey, Element, Ram 1500, the Avantime, etc. Everyday cars have always had a place in GT since the beginning, and personally I think it's great that PD are still doing this today. Not every car needs to be the same German supercar that's been in every other game.

Anyways, pretty nice selection of cars this update. Really happy we finally have the C5 :)

Ferrari Superfast: I like it but i wonder how different it is compared to the predecessor. Maybe the Competizione variant would have been better…?

Corvette: Love it. As some others have said i would also have like a standard variant (non Z06/ZR1).

Honda CR-V: I find it boring to be honest 😐

Suzuki kei car: Boring unless…they give us a Hayabusa engine swap option 😀

As always i appreciate any free content addition as well as things like additional events or sophy updates.

I mean, how hard have you ever driven your CR-V?(Not how fast)

Considering a 80's Suzuki Carry Panel Van was added in GT2 Project A-Spec 1.2, I'm kinda interested by the Carry KC.

I'm interested in pretty much all of these cars. Especially the C5 Corvette!

After the reveal of cars...

there are two great cars (Ferrari and Corvette)

and two rubish cars that i will use them once or twice and after that they will get dust in 'garage"

I hope for more tweaking and adding more content like events etc...

I lost my trust in PD for the future of GT...

I am sorry about that....

GT7 WILL NOT BECOME GT4.....

No track no joy......

The real driving simulator become the real awkward SUV and generaly odd car simulator..

I am frustrated....
GT7 was never been planed by PD as a GT4 remake, and plus: Did't GT4 and GT2 have a lot of average and economy cars, just like GT7? So, I don't understand your complaining.

It’s literally going to be regular traffic in the game. ;)

GT4 had a variety of cars and yes there were some 'strange' cars but it had also a great selection of very interesting racing and road cars!!!

And don't forget from the people insisting in make dumb comparisons with FH5.

Yes, I understand, but at least in GT7 I can make some good replicas, such as previous games racing modifications.
But anyway, I'm still happy with some racing and road sports cars added in previous updates, such as NSX GT500, Escudo Pikes Peak, GT-One, Skyline Super Silhouete, Ferrari 430 Scuderia, Lambo Gallardo, Aston Martin Valkyrie, and other JDM and Muscle cars that PD don't forget to add.

I have exactly zero expectations for this update.
Another pack of mom and dad cars, another super pointless menu book and another Sunday Cup race with a... uh Fiat Panda?
And of course some favorable BoP updates for the manufacturers who are still willing to support this "real" driving simulator circus.
Better than nothing. And sorry, but GT always has an ecletic car list, variating from race and sports cars to economy and average cars, since GT2 and 4, so, complaining about this is same thing as complaining about a Souls-like extreme difficulty.
Still, don't like the game? Don't play it, it's simple. PD isn't forcing anyone to play the game for some people make complains like this.

I also had that CR-V, and as daily transportation, it was fine. Practical. Economical. Comfortable. The CVT made sense.

It will be interesting to drive it hard.

I still dream of the common British sports cars from around the 1960s. MGs, Austin Healeys, TRs. 🤔

All I am happy about after they dump this update on us, will be the 812 Superfast as I love the F12 in this game but also this one i wanted for so long liek many other racers here! The C5 corvette, so I can complete my Chevy collection of slick corvettes and take some snaps of all of them.

Oh I know the CVT makes sense for what it is, which is probably another reason why the car is so good at handling every day things. When I said the CVT doesn't help it, what I meant by that though is for me, it is a boring car to drive and having a CVT makes it even more boring....but it will be interesting to see how it goes when tuned and driven to the limit....something I wouldn't dare to do to my own car right now since I need the reliability it offers 😆

The handling should be fine when tuned. Problem it’ll have is if it’s like the C-HR and can’t change the transmission.

I am just tickled PINK that GT7 finally has a car that I actually have, the Honda CR-V (mine is a 2018 but is the AWD)
I am so excited to be driving my CR-V in this GT7
(pink is not an available color?)
Self-redacted due to epic (but funny) failure.*

Really looking forward to the C5 Vette. Have been wanting to start a NASA Corvette Cup replica league but they only allow the C5 and C6 generations. The only C6 we have is the ZR1 which is super over powered and doesn't fit the bill. Tried the C7 but it didn't work very well either. C5 will work nicely.
