Or even give us the option to add more gears if we purchase a fully customised racing transmission (within reason of course - don’t want to see a K20 swapped mini with a 10 speed gearbox 😂)
 
@Islaygaz That's why i specifically said 6 speed (7 speed would be ok still, but more gears and it's just annoying :lol: ).

Most engine swaps in real life also involve transmission (or transaxle, as the case may be) swaps. Unfortunately, that's not coded to the engine.

IIRC, Forza motorsport 2 had some pretty wild engine swaps that essentially gave you a new drivetrain option. Not too sure on the transmission tho. Shame it's not the case in GT.

It would be nice if we could buy different transmissions on cars that came with different options for sure
 
Definitely looking forward to seeing what sort of swaps we'll get with this next update on Thursday the 29th. Maybe something for the Lancia Stratos, or perhaps the older Fiat 500? The other two older European hatches, the VW 1600 and Mini Cooper S, each have an engine swap. Why not round out the trio with something for the classic 500?

Same here! I deleted the game and downloaded it again - 30 hours remaining when I went to bed last night :( Now I’m not even sure that’ll fix the issue
 
I had that too, but only 1 day, and it fixed itself. So guess i'm lucky.
 
Hope the S14 can use the VR38 or LS7-BRZ. My Silvia Q’s, with the LS7-BRZ, is too nice.

VR38 swap for the S14 would honestly interests me for sure.
 
We haven't got any swaps for post-launch vehicles yet, besides the BRZ which I don't count as it's a clone of the 86. I'd be quite surprised if the S14 came with a swap so soon. We have got the Rampage engine, though that's more of a reverse situation.

Snagged the V8 GT-LM engine today. Wow the Focus RS is super fun with that in it! A real gymkhana machine.
 
Since last update I only got 1 engine with every day getting my tickets. In this tempo it will be 2027 to get the engines I want. I am so hoping for the S1 engine for my Golf!! All I get is lowest money in every ticket, or an invite to buy a Ferrari or Porsche etc. Which I altea have, and already had an active invite.. please PD, fix the ticket and give invites to let us buy an engine swap. Don't care if a swap would cost 1 million..
