Just wondering if anyone has tried this and what tune did you use for it? Also, for what purpose? The WTC 700 Le Mans?

I did this yesterday - but added a high RPM turbo to get it back to close to the original engine. Plus a Racing gearbox. Not sure on a tune yet or why anyone would want to do this - it’s a bit of a torque for displacement swap (black is swapped)

I have the swap, just because of me being a completionist and wanting every available swap...
Used it once for LeMans I think... Adjusted suspension and earo to Gr.3 levels.

I Already did the new RX 7 swap and took it to Le Mans. It's awesome and might just be my new favorite car. It looks stunning with all the aero upgrades !

Took a Copen, gave it a wide body and the swap and a bit of tuning. Nothing too crazy though, no racing parts, no weight reduction, 339hp. Put it on SS tires and took it around the Ring. This thing is fun and handles the power quite well!

If I was being picky I would have liked something Toyota (GR Yaris 1.6) given the links, but I'll take the 13B

The quad rotor in the 1991 RX-7 is very IMSA GTO class coated. And they did give it a nice wide body kit.

Did the Abarth swap, drove it around Nordschleife with a street tune and at the LM700 in race trim.

With the street tune, just for fun, it's ok. Not really bad, not really good either.
For Le Mans it just sucks. Suspension too soft, no precision, brakes are not good, it's thirsty and looses a lot of power on FM6.

Overall not a swap I would recommend.

Not really but you made good choices based upon those are race engines and have much better fuel economy than the other hi-performance swap motors.
With "race" motors you have a better shot of doing at least 3 laps at Le Mans before refueling, the other motors you would be lucky to get two laps, possibly three with FM6 setting.

I find that the Toyota GR Yaris with the 2JZ is splendid for multiple regulations, including the 700 PP cap for the Race of Turbo Sports Cars, but also for events like the WTC 600. (I’d imagine that the Toyota GR Corolla with the same swap would be similarly great.)

I’m unsure if it’d necessarily be the fastest at Le Mans, though. That could very well depend on the race’s regulations, your downforce and gear ratio settings, and so on. But in my experience, it’s splendid if the PP cap is 600 or 700, and on most circuits I’ve driven it on, too.

Dunno if "faster", but definitely "fun" and a reliable win - the BAC Mono '11 - V8-Suzuki-VGT-Gr.3 (Suzuki Vision GT Gr.3) ...

... especially if you like the wind in your face

Honda NSX Type R '92 with GT500 swap
Mazda RX-7 (FD) Type R '91 with 787B swap
Nissan Fairlady Z (Z34) '08 with GT500 swap
Porsche 911 (997) GT3 '09 with RSR swap

The Honda, Mazda and Nissan can easily do 3 laps without any fuel saving strategy's
All of them can do laps under 4 minutes.

A swap for the R4 is most welcome. Love that car, but you can barely get it to 100hp (and if you do, the power curve is really really awkward).

Hope it's something reasonable and not the Espace F1 engine!
